It's so gloomy where I am. I was driving home from the store listening to this podcast, literally begging God to please let the sun come out. I turned the corner and the sun began to shine behind me. I started saying "Praise God! Praise the Lord! Thank you! Thank you!" I was driving but wanted to see the sun since it was out and I kept trying to turn around and see the sun and I just couldn't see it because I was in my car. I said out loud, "Oh I can't see you, but I know you're there! I can see your light and I can feel you, but I can't see you." As soon as I said that, it hit me that what I said was just like God. I can't see you, but I know you're there. Instant tears! 😭 I knew at that moment God was speaking to my heart. I had to pause the podcast because I was sobbing. As soon as I pulled into my driveway, I pushed play on the podcast again and Ashley said, "You're trusting your future to a God you can't see." I'm just in awe! God is definitely speaking to me today. I feel so held by the Lord.

I agree! Ally has so much wisdom but sometimes that overpowers others :/ but love them sm and we’re not perfect
God really does pay attention to our small requests! I remember being new to my faith, and I am one of the people who doesn't like to be seen crying, I was crying to God and asked Him "God, I am crying right now, I want to stay in Your prescence, don't let my dad come in right now" (my dad usually comes into my room when he gets home) and he actually didn't. He just texted me that he had food downstairs and God waited me to calm down before I come out. The Lord is so good!

8:25 Literally SO true!!! I remember a few months before I met my husband I prayed to God to just give me someone who loves me for me whenever he saw fit. And the thing is that, I HAD MY PREFERENCES ON WHAT I LIKED. I didnt ask God for them when I prayed about it though. And guess what… I’m 20 turning 21 next week and Ive been married to my husband for almost a year now and God literally knew what I liked in a man because my husband is everything I wanted and never asked for! God truly blessed me with someone better than I had asked for! And also my husband has been the only partner Ive ever had so I feel so blessed and grateful everyday❤️
This gives me hope and reassurance that I don’t need to know what I want in a man down to the last detail; I can just relax and trust God, and whomever I meet, I can determine whether they’re the one, based on the WORD! ❤
I could literally cry. One of my fav episodes. I have dealing with secondary infertility. And i have been praying “lord if it is not for me please remove this desire from my heart” for the last year! I have been praying this. And i still have the want to try and have a baby girl. I have two school aged boys who have been praying for a baby sister for 3 years

oh my goodness. i have heard Ashley speaking about the power of fasting & praying a lot recently, but i don't feel able to give up food right now so i fasted my phone instead yesterday (highly recommend as a weekly practice). i listened to this episode and i prayed to be able to share my testimony with literally anyone because He deserves the glory and I want to tell everyone!! i pray most of all for Christian friends to share it with, but I felt this is something I can share with my secular friends. i kid you not - as i was praying, an old friend contacts me (because of a random urge?!! 🙏🤯) and apologizes, gives me closure, and asks about the EXACT factors that make up my testimony. i told him and really felt i finally planted a seed in someone... HE HEARD ME!!! Ally is so right - if you want it.. ask Him!!! He is listening and it will work out according to His plan.
I moved to South Carolina less than a year ago from Los Angeles and it’s been really hard for me to find a community here 🥺 people who genuinely love God!! I’m tired of being lukewarm and I desire to be on fire for Jesus!! I admire you and Ashley, your friendship is truly from the Lord. I would love for y’all to talk about community! God bless you both and anyone who comes across this 🤍

Ally, you have no idea how much your podcast means to me. But pleaseee my sweet girl, let other people talk... hahah.. wanting to constantly side track, interrupt and be impatient to talk is a sin in itself... Love the guests and their stories but sometimes we are really unable to hear it cos ur talking iver them or interrupting... this is coming from Love and only love! Because i swear, ur podcast has been God sent and helped me build the bridge back to God. I love the things u say and ur fire for Jesus! So please take it in a good way. :)

Lately I’ve felt like I’m ready to give up on a business God called over my life, and this episode helped me so much to ask for faith and for an answer! The decision is happening in April, and I feel like this encouraged me to fast, pray, and really allow God to move in this next month whether it’s time to give it up, or He’ll show up in a undeniable way. Thank you for sharing this!

Something I want to add though is we so often give Satan so much credit for attacks. But we must remember that Satan isn’t omnipresent. So he cannot be in all places at once. So sometimes we feel attacks, but it could be a demon OR just our own sinful nature. Which I guess the sin comes from the enemy.

another perspective and comment on 30:30 is that i often have to remind myself that what i may be personally experiencing or saying is not new. the enemy has been around for so long and seen so much that your struggles are ones he has probably heard and seen before. i do immediately remind myself that God made me, he knows my genetic makeup, my future, my everything and also He is going to defeat satan. God is going to win at the end. also Jesus knows so much about humanity and how we function because He was there when we were created and He experienced being a human

Congratulations on your baptism, dear sister in Christ! ❤ As adults, yes, it can be so hard to find true friends and it takes time :) I've been going to a young adults group since February and I met up with someone from the group last week for the first time... in between all that, I was seriously questioning if I would make friends. God is working and you are going to find community!

I’m in a waiting season…I’ve been waiting on Friends, Christian community, and to grow in relationships with the lord. I faith…I have faith that the lord is going give me the strength give me the courage, because I can do ALL things through CHRIST who gives me the strength. I believe it. It’s hard, it’s hard getting your self out there, especially in this world. Honestly I get anxiety in communication with people, but you know what I’ve just realized that, I am not alone, I may feel alone, but I’m not alone. ❤ im thankful for the lords work and ways of helping us….I’m thankful that in the waiting season ,God is near, that we have his word to literally speak to us in those time. And I am so thankful that in the season of waiting we can see God in it and see him through.
Knowing that God has won the battle is insane. God is planting seeds in our hearts, and he is watering it everyday. Everyday it grows. God is So good. I’m seriously thankful❤.

I would absolutely loveeee an episode on community and friends. This is something I have been struggling with for awhile now. After hearing you kind of touch on it at the end I realized that it is likely i’m not in the place right now in my faith to truly support Godly friendships.

God has been dealing with me on the exact things you were talking about. And in several videos of Ashley’s. The one where Ally said, “I’ll ask God if I’m suppose to do something and He’ll say “Yes” then I’ll ask Him more questions and He’s silent.” And then (paraphrasing) “it’s because I’m not suppose to know yet, He just wants me to trust and go with the yes He gave me.” That opened my eyes so much to the fact that God has been speaking the same thing to me and the light bulb just came on when you said that. You girls are so awesome, so relatable and real. Thank you for being the amazing women God has created you to be! 💗
I am amazed of the faith and the love for God in these girls. They are not priests, or theologians but I think this kind of honest, sincere, open and filled with Grace courage talks benefit a lot of people in the similar way going to the church does. Glory to God!

Girl, please with all due respect, please let people talk and finish. You are so anointed by God, but sometimes you need to listen when people are talking because i get so invested in what the other person says to you, but you interrupt them all the time. I love you, girl, and this is coming from all love ok. ❤❤

There is a way to provide a suggestion to someone that you admire, respect and adore whilst being sensitive to their feelings. Saying “Girl please with all due respect” is not how you make a loving suggestion to someone. You comment comes off judgmental, condescending, and critical. Ally is extroverted, lively, excitable, and talkative - and those are her strengths! Taking a back seat might be a challenging for her as she has guests on her podcast. Don’t be so quick to point flaws - Jesus taught us to extend GRACE. None of us are perfect, and if we constantly nit-pick eachother none of us are truly feeling loved. Just be mindful of how you come across.

It sounds like you are saying this out of experience and that you have good intentions. 😊 I admire this because it's important to look out for one another as sisters in Christ, even when it's hard (coming from an extreme people pleaser here) 💜 On social media, it can be so hard to discern each others tones and we all come from different experiences with what is + is not okay to say! :)
It’s not biblical to be careful about what you pray out loud. I don’t know anywhere in the Bible where it says the devil doesn’t have access to your thoughts but he does have access to your speech. As Christians we have to be bold so if that means pray out loud do it! With Jesus the devil can’t get you anyway, but from my Bible studying I don’t agree that the devil hears what you say out loud but not in your head. And it shouldn’t matter to us anyway. ALSO I’m not hating! Just providing a correction. I love this podcast so much and Ashley and Allie are great!!!!

31:24 amennnn i once prayed something in my head and when i was talking to my mum abt it, i accidentally said what i prayed for which was a sign and BOOM people with what i prayed abt popped out of no where so i had to pray again something differently 😂😂😂

I have known from a bible teacher that the devil cannot put thoughts in your mind, but he can influenced them with what is out there, that is why he is paying attention to our patterns, habits,struggles, etc

Love your podcast! Around the 8 minute mark you said "obviously God has promised us" referring to having a husband. I was wondering what that looked like or do you just have faith because you have that desire to be a wife that you take that as God's promise to you? If you could expound an episode on God's promises that would be really cool.

Ashley saying we’re allowed to ask God for a single but then Jesus says when he’s being tempted to not test God. I am confused by this. I’m sure there is an explanation and there is probably a difference between asking for confirmation vs testing the Lord but I really hope someone can speak about this in depth in the podcast!

I just wanted to add that we need to be careful with signs. 1. the enemy can perform signs too and 2. Jesus says in Matthew 4:7 ”Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’” So we should not test God. Yes, He gives signs; yes, he reveals; yes, he speaks but we need to fight with our need to rationalize everything and ask God for signs “to believe” when faith is literally trusting in Him without proof. How else can you build your faith if gives proof of everything. Of course, come to Jesus to place your burdens and He will help you carry them, but we need to do the work of watering our fruit so the Lord can make it grow. I say this cause I have been through it. The Lord gave me this crazy prophetic promise and i needed “signs” cause it seemed just too crazy and impossible. He literally told me to stop asking for signs and trust Him. No matter how many signs He gives us, the promise will still be hard too to believe. So my advice is, make an intentional commitment to trust Him, pray and ask for wisdom and discernment to recognize the enemy’s lies and the voice of the Holy Spirit and walk by faith.
