For me the best national team was the Spanish one between 2008-2012. It won a world cup and two Eurocups (the only team which had two Eurocups in a row). Andres Iniesta, Charles Puyol, Xabi Alonso, Iker Casillas, Pedro, Cesc Fábregas, David Villa, Fernando Torres... Many of the excellent players at international level in the same team. Also, it was the only national team to have 3 titles in a row without counting the Olympics games (that are not the same as FIFA or UEFA ones).

Actually Uruguay, UK, Belgium, Sweden and Italy have more titles, since they won the Olympic games before 1952.
Until 1948 Olympics were not played by "olympic" under 23s, but by regular Senior national teams i.e. the same national of Uruguay won Olympics 1928 and WC 1930, the same national of Italy won Olympics 1936 and WC 1934, 1938.
FIFA has recognized this distinction and made it official.
Also it is possible (but debatable) to include the European International Cup, the tournament that preceded the European Cup.

First of all european international cup of nations or central european international cup was played only between central european countries so the winner doesnt really count as a european champion so much as a central european champion and secondly I dont think its recognised by uefa or fifa so it doesnt really matter. So all in all italy has 2 euro cups.
@@aalamahmad25 at the time the Central European countries were the best in Europe. So they organized this tournament. Only England among the strongest nations wasn’t there but the country chosed to self isolate.
The UEFA wasn’t born at the time but it organized the last edition of the International Cup of 1955-60.
Anyway the UEFA didn’t recognize the tournament cause they wanted to introduce their own Euro cup how they did in 1960.
