- I didn't get a chance to say in the video but i think this entire channel has been leading up to this and I can't say how excited I am to do something like this. The General Lee is near and dear to me as a 46 year old. Dukes was one of my favorite shows of all time! I had a general Lee big wheel I’d do spin outs in lol😂

They were all 318 cars with reinforced unibodies and cages, and they still weren’t drivable after. These cars fold up like accordions, and he’s going to learn the hard way.

My Dad is doing rough. He’s almost 70 and A 20 year Air Force Vet. He was an airplane tech and still is a mechanic. I Joined the 82nd Airborne Division and hurt my back bad. Dad’s dream was to go on a show with me and my older brother and do a Resto on his two prize Vehicles he carried across country from here in Central Kentucky to Beal Afb Ca and back again. One he drove.
One truck is a 57 Chevy Pickup.
The other is …… A a grave digger. It’s I believe, a 53 Apache Chevrolet Panel Wagon with the glass down the side in the back.
He has saved these Trucks for over 40 years for me and my brother. I would love to tell him that we figured out how to do the resto before he passes. Major surgery happens in 30 days.
