Thank you... it kind of worked with my new Samsung S24 Ultra phone. The new phone is so bright, that the Whatsapp app on the old phone couldn't take a picture of the QR code, so I had to take a screenshot of the QR code, go to my pictures and use that for scanning it, then I quickly went back to Whatsapp, so I could accept the transfer.

When I used WhatsApp on the new phone, it only had 2 years worth of backup. It also would not allow you to do backup to the cloud with Google. So therefore, there is no way of doing backup manually on the new phone. So now I have deleted the new phone. What's app. I am very grateful. I did not lose all my information on the old phone.
