r99/car with any good long-range weapon. So think g7, 3030, longbow, chargerifle, triple take, etc. Something thats great in spamming and decent hipfire if my r99 didnt do the job.

I would def say the R99 has def felt lackluster this season. I find myself leaning more for the CAR and even the Alternator which is crazy.

I feel like it’s because this guy takes into account that not everyone is a pro with god aim most the lists I’ve seen don’t care about how forgiving it is and the quick follow up shots

@@Adam-de8jmYeah triple take is good, especially when it hits for those 60s, even more so now because of the shield changes. People who still have blue or purple shield have fun trying survive it out in the open, but snipers will be better at this point since they hit for more consistent damage.
Scout in B tier is wild. It’s one if the best weapons to do entry damage or get first knock. The speed at which I can drop guys with it if they poke too mich is insane

Yeah but is it better than the 3030 for that task though? I feel like if someone's pushing me I would rather have the scout but if were just peeking and trying to get a knock give me the 3030 all day

Miss the good ole days, when you could put any sniper scope on the triple take and G7 Scout but now with just a 2-4x with hitting 24s for the scout doesn’t feel the best to be honest, especially as a Newcastle main.

I gotta say the Re-45 has been feeling really nice this season. Being able to move a bit quicker and reload is worth it. When the hammer points are on it’s so much fun to use. Wiped out squads with this pistol before.
I really hate that gun, but if you like it then ok.

@@Khronyc I’m a fuse main. I don’t really go in for pubs or LTMS. I prefer ranked and private match’s. Kinda stinks that clubs got removed.
I got digital threat and hammer points of the drop earlier today. That game almost made re45 my favourite weapon. It so much fun, when fully kitted.

As a newbie who started with Apex this season, I have to say Im slowly finding my preferences with weapons.. in very 1st week I ran R301 simply for easy recoil and usually added PK or Mastiff for close range punch.. Slowly went over G7 and 3030 and forced myself to play with burst fire weapons..
Now I can say most reliable for me is combination Hemlok and Havoc (if I find Turbocharger, without it I rather dont touch this gun).. followed by R301 and TripleTake

Tbh, when the Scout had the Double tap trigger hop up, I used to look for it.
I used to not be a fan of the 30-30 but now I do enjoy using it.
I love the triple take tho, especially close range hip fire is 👍🏾
The rampage is insane on fuze since it combos with his clusters to have pretty much never ending pressure at mid range
As a master player on PC after playing a bit this season, I havent picked up the prowler much yet, but I agree with literally every gun. W video too, lots of good points
the flatline has become a must pick for me the mastiff is usually my second right now. though after seeing this i will have to give the car and volt another go. i used the r99 a ton the last few seasons and i kind ditched the smgs after their nerfs this season but im hyped to hear the car is actually better than the r99 since it was the first smg that i mastered
I use the Flatline / R301 for my primary weapon, and the CAR / Volt as a secondary weapon.I’m sad with the r99 nerfs. How a god tier weapon went to absolute mediocre. I might try to get into the Prowler and Havoc this season. Great vid Tim!
Apex really just needs to release a map, gun and two game modes in one season cuz it’s been a year since the nemesis was added
For methis Season , i focus to use nemesis with purple optic lvl 2/4 and volt without optic and totaly agree with you ❤
rampage this season is my favorite weapon because it has everything you could want in a weapon. high damage, versatile range, low ammo consumption, it’s just so good. surprisingly fun/easy to use at close range as well. i barely use the thermite charge though, i don’t really think it helps the gun much but i’ll use it sometimes to break down doors
Same. This weapon feels so strong somehow although I don't really like the base firerate but the damage output is INSANE.
When you coming out with the season 21 list?
R99 A tier is stupid. You said lots of flaws and still put it that high. R99 has barely any damage and low mag, you can barely kill any 1. Calling it good when its fully kitted feels very unfair against the alternator, considering it has such a low rating because of disruptor

It still has the best TTK in the game. Hit all your shots and you will win, simple as that.
@@TimProVision that logic doesn’t make much sense. You’re rating these guns in totality right? So a weapon with bad range, abysmal recoil, mag size, requires numerous attachments, but has the highest ttk by an extremely small margin should not be in A tier lol.
@@TimProVisionon top of the fact that weapons overlap in purpose. The R-99 is an smg, that’s prettt much the most competitive class of weapon rn. The truth is an r-99 user will lose out to a prowler, volt, car, or even an alternator more times than not.
I usually go with flatline/hemlok + alternator unless I want more range in which I usually go with the longbow
im running nemesis pk or hemlock pk almost every game this season in ranked
comment on re45, use case could be for a bang player for the use of a digi through their smoke as no smg digis
Sentinel + Volt combo with a super Aggro character like Path or Octane is my go to.
Favourite weapon is Flatline since season 0. Also I have a soft point for Havoc and Volt. :)))
Longbow used to be my favorite and still occasionally pick it up and have solid games with it but find myself leaning more towards a 30-30, triple take or sentinel most of the time

@xSiLeNcExReApErx Last season I used to look for a L-Star any chance I got for close and mid range. It's still good but I've been liking the RE-45 or any SMG besides the R99 lol

for the super sweaty australian lobbies, the hemlok just doesnt cut, especially since most people just push extremely fast
Alternator has been my fav smg this season but I think volts the best smg all around. Best reload, recoil, damage
The Mozam is B tier at least. Just use it like a wingman/eva combo. If you have an AR use it to finish up enemies you can’t one clip. It doesn’t have the same burst damage as the other shotguns but the fact it can consistently do quick chunks of damage at mid range makes it viable alternative.
Is there a TTK chart for season 20 I jus want to see all the guns time to kill but All the ones I find out dated
If you are reliable with the charge, pick it up, it shreds. I have a friend who mains the charge and I never complain when he hits back to back 100+ damage headshots.
301 carbine and flatline been it for me lately, and if I don't have 1 of em then I use spitfire, its straight up laser ppl, long or short range.

I wish they would put all categories of weapons in the care package so they can introduce more weapons to the game and have some weapons that are good as care package weapons be in there as well as rotate them more often.
I.e Devotion, charge rifle(old version), wingman, eva 8*,full auto prowler, assualt weapon*, and marksman*.
But the game wouldn't be fun if every weapon was broken.

Hemlok + PK/Mastiff is so far definitely way to go. Crazy nuts combo.
30-30 feels way too annoying around the reloading and Volt has been amazing so far, just havent found out the ideal way to what it to pair with.
Yeah the 30-30 never gave me the feeling of using a strong weapon smh. And the Volt is a truly shredding SMG even on mid range.

I've been burst shottin on hipfires, and it's workin well!
I use hemlok evertime have since day dot. Always used it as a single shot, with my trigger button set to R1 so i have no play in trigger

havoc is criminally underrated, its unironically better than every smg in the game while offering every positive thing an ar does.
Gotta up the G-7 to minimum A, dropped easy high damage games with the G-7 and volt

Still R301 for me. I feel like up close- medium range it's acts like a sub, but can also hit further shots with high accuracy and flinch infliction.
I think that's one thing you left out. How hard it is to escape a bullet pattern

Honestly i have to say that my favourite weapon it is the p2020 as im simping the blessed Merry on the legendary skin of it and honestly it feels like a little scout with an option to add hammer point , however the charge rifle.... I better fight the Bangalore Q instead of using it

RE-45 is absolutely god tier off drop, just had a match where i got like 6 knocks with it in the first minute and a half lol
Even though the R9 feels terrible compared to what it used to be, it’s still really strong. Having such a high rate of fire lets you do so much damage extremely quickly so until the nerf the actual damage or fire rate, it’s always gonna be strong

Personally I run Mad Maggie with a Mastiff/PK and a Hemlok. In close range it is lethal, in long range it is just an annoyance for the enemy.

Well, actually, recently RE45 was in care package and it was a must pick due to the best TTK at that moment of the game.

The mastiff is way too inconsistent for me. ADS or not it just hits for 11s and sometimes 40s but it doesn’t do more than about 80 damage per mag. Just a bad state for it rn for me

It's not the best, but gods I do love the RE-45. So reliable, so easy to handle, recoil's practically nonexistent, and woe betide anyone coming up against me when I've got any kinda mag and some hammerpoints on that thing.

I know what would fix the placement of pistols and LMGs. But it would be unpopular with the the speed demon, aggressive play making types. I’m under the very firm belief that swapping weapons shouldn’t be faster than reloading. There’s no reason someone should miss 2/3 of the shots in their rifle and panic swap to the PK and secure the kill faster than reloading their gun and being punished for their inaccuracy. Switching to a full sized weapon takes time. Double the amount of time it takes to weapon swap, other than pistols. That gives pistols a place as a solid secondary, and requires sacrificing a powerhouse weapon for kill security. And it gives LMGs a place because now that extended magazine has value and TTK isn’t the only thing that matters. Plus you could give Skirmishers or Controllers 10% or 15% more weapon swap sessions speed. Both need better passives honestly.
Your list is so long, the apex devs won't read all of it, let alone change what you've said.

Hot take: I don't think anyone needs to be punished for missing some shots, the game kinda does it itself
The point of having a secondary like pistols is have a quicker alternative to reloading. They aren’t panic swapping to a PK that’s why the picked it up. If you are getting beat by someone that is missing 2/3 of their mag then it’s not the game that’s a problem. You are either missing as many shots or more, you got jumped, or refused to fight at all.
All that’s needed to make LMGs better is buffing their damage a bit. The Lstar is good as it is. The pistols besides the 2020 are great as they are. The Mozam is underrated as a sidearm right now. For the 2020 they’d prolly need to rework the entire weapon at this point.
Why u using recon perk for pathfinder when u got recon legends in your squad?
I favor Rampage and Sentinel over everything. The reasons are quite simple 1) if you have ANY talent with snipers, then a charged Sentinel will be a DIVINE tier weapon 2) the dps output of a charged rampage is **absolute madness,** I even have a clip where I eliminated 15 players within 4 minutes with only 2 Rampage mags. Overall, I'd say that these weapons should fall under the "sleeper build" tier, in other words, the tier where using a weapon to it's maximum capability will bring you above any other weapon (even if you use the other weapons at their max capability too!)
They should give the charge rifle an attachment when he turns back into a spartan laser

RE-45 is slept on this season. When compared to the R9, It has a faster swap and reload time across all levels, while only sacrificing one bullet per mag. It also has a faster TTK once you get the HP on it. Then taking the easier recoil into consideration, It's actually just better than the R9 in every way.
"how to tell you're silver player without saying youre silver". Now beeing serious, the only time RE is better than R99 is when you find it golden and got 0 attachaments for R9. Faster TTK is ONLY WITH HAMMERPOINT AND ENEMY WITH NO ARMOR, fighting someone with full shield doesn't make it faster killing weapon even with hammerpoint. Swap, holster, reload etc. are so little diffrence that you shouldn't mention it. And fact that you need hop up to make it viable, bro
R9 with blue mag is just better than golden RE.

I'll say it once more, if you fight someone who is not cracked, then even hammerpoint is not making it faster killing weapon. Now make quick calculations if you more often fight shielded enemies or not xD
Why does everyone make hammerpoints the only reason to like pistols? Personally I like the P2020 because of its fast reload and that you can control the speed.

The RE doesn't deal 18 DMG per bullet. The RE can't down an enemy with red armor with the base magazine, all body shots.
If people didn't have to manage their trigger finger on top of tracking opponents the p20 would be near meta. And that's without hammer points.
@ShadowMark3_ I agree, Ive gone John Wick style with the P20. Besides its epic having people rage msg because they get killed by it let alone kill all 3 of the enemy team.

I’m a new player so I don’t know what the R99 used to be, but I’ve found it almost unusable in the last two seasons
It was fastest killing weapon in game (still in top but CAR is now just better option), relatively easy to find attachments and ammo, with digi best way to take a fight in smoke's when Bang was almost in every single squad with highest or top3 %pickrate

The r99 isnt a tier maybe on console but for pc lobbys you will never 1 mag a player who has full health maybe a tier as a secondary after you crack the shield but you can't use it with pk now

Apex legends global series one person was using the re 45 don't know they won or lost
I came back this season and started maining loba after finally unlocking her, i found the triple take and decided to try it out. Me and my friends went on to be in the top 2, me running a car and triple take. The enemy had a loba with prestige skin and i absolutely shredded her. Made me feel so much better about becoming a loba main.
I remember a few games before in duos i was using the triple take and immediately cracked a bloodhounds blue sheilds with a single charged body shot. Its honestly my favorite sniper and in some cases can be used as a makeshift shotgun when using the hipfire. Probably the most versitile weapon. If only i could run the triple take and a volt without using the same ammo
As a P2020 player im offended... this gun is goated... id rather take P2020 than G7, Rampage, L-STAR... idk the names of the other guns because I only play P2020 with Flatline, Alternator or Nemesis.
Keep sleeping on the l star, i love these tier list down playing it because ive 1v3 with it so many times with no reload. Last season it was sectetly busted, they nerfed it but ive play with it for so long it makes no difference to the recoil. Lifeline > l star > mastiff

Its too good. Substantially changes engagements and unlike the Kraber or Bocek, it has so much ammo.
P2020 is the worst but with hammers it is a great swap to weapon, and it has decent range, basically a single fire flatline
They need to change for when you land at the start, that you land with the P2020. The amount of times that people want to hot drop and I can't find a weapon, I'd to have the P2020 for some protection
