What is the Mercenaries Fighting Pit? The PVP Mode of Mercenaries
The Mercenaries Fighting Pit is where PVP Combat takes place.
Matchmaking aims to pair players that have near-equivalent levels of power - no pay to win here.
You can't see which moves your player opponent is locking in, unlike while hunting Bounties, so strategy is supreme!
You can earn achievements in this mode, rewards, and with enough practice can top the leaderboards.
What is the Mercenaries Travel Point? The PVE Mode of Mercenaries
The very top of your village is the Travel Point. It is here where we can access our Bounties and choose which zone we are going to hunt.
The Bounties unlock sequentially within a Zone and each has a suggested level and predetermined Bounty Boss.
Upgrading the Travel Point will unlock Heroic-level Bounties which provide more challenging content.
A future update to Mercenaries will allow an additional upgrade level on the Travel Point to unlock Legendary-level Bounties.
This is our main PVE mode to play in with our Mercenaries. - Hry

I genuinely did not expect Mercenaries to be so different from normal Hearthstone, so I really appreciate the guide!
Great advice. Another tip I learned recently was that if you have 2 Mercs with ablitities of the same speed, the one that you use and target first will always go first. Espically useful for triggering any fast combo abities.

Mercenaries is actually becoming one of my favorite modes like no joke. I did spend a lot of gold on it but I'm still behind but the grind doesn't feel bad. Also can you do a guide on PVE stuff will a F2P comp. Like you know nothing crazy like XTS?

@@sydonix5429 I haven't played pvp so I can't say for sure. I heard you can add low level mercs to level em up and your opponents will have a comp similar to yours in levels and all

Also, you don't need to back out of the Bounty to collect your task completion. You can just scroll to the bottom and click the campfire. Saves some time due to all the menu animations.

I'm not a Hearthstone player, and, I admit, I only did Mercenaries to get the mount in WoW, but now it has me hooked and I'm wanting to play this more then I want to play WoW.

Great video as always!, After the first 200 campfire upgrade you have to do 25 task then it cost 400 to upgrade fully.
A little sad as you don't earn any gold.
But so far I am enjoying this mode despite its issues(farming coins and takes awhile to acquire mercs of epic legendary)

Good tips! The same thing happened to me as well i had my quest log full and instead of a task i got coins for that mercenary from the mysterious stranger haha awkward
