I have the garish fuschia Figura case (I like garish). It’s not as bright as it appears in the ads, but my bigger gripe is that it does not feel tacky, but slippery. The buttons all work perfectly and I would describe the case as thin membrane.
I always get Otterbox cases for my iPhone but since I ordered my iPhone 13 Pro directly from Apple this year I just got Apple’s clear MagSafe case. But I don’t love it. I don’t like that there’s zero grip on the back (I often get Otterbox Defender cases). I’ll be driving and my phone will immediately slide off my lap with this Apple clear case. Does anyone know if the Otterbox Clear Symmetry case has more grip than Apple’s case? Or this Otterbox Anneu? I think those two have the same polycarbonate so I’d hate to buy one and have them slipping and sliding all over just like the Apple clear case.
@@randomrazr Thanks. Is the back smooth? I use a silicone case and love the feel and overall grip. Not sure if the grippy sides would be enough if that back is smooth. I use my index finger on the back to prop it up. I appreciate the response.
the power button? i didnt know that. i only assumed the larger camera module was slightly larger being the only major difference. it did work fine though but their still plenty of 12 cases out their so i would prob get the dedicated 12 case
Is the MagSafe reflective ring on the case safe from scratches? its my only concern. I use a otter box symmetry and always loved the materials they use
i would say the symmetry is more scratch resistant for sure. i just reviewed it and its a little easier to take on and off this year. a little though ;) the anue has a fine matte finish and the circle is a glossy finish . i think the finish on the aneu is a bit more delicate for sure
The finish will peel after a month or two. Plus the card for MagSafe compatibility card is cheap and flimsy. The buttons make poor contact too on the sides. Otterbox’s apple store exclusive cases are cheap in quality. I would only ever recommend otterbox for their amplify screen protectors in my humble opinion
@@n1knak Thanks for mentioning how the case wears. That certainly would be an issue for those that have their hands on their phones most of the day. I’ve only had the case for one day. I purchased the blue marble case and it doesn’t feel or look cheap. The MagSafe card is inside the case, not on the exterior of the case, and is one of the reasons I selected this particular case. The button cutouts fit the iPhone 13 Pro Max well and work well. I’m happy with my purchase and do recommend the case.
@@n1knak I have the otterbox symmetry in black and held up so good after 2 years. the rubber on it never peels and plastic shell on the back is like new. maybe they used slightly different materials on the Aneu vs the symmetry
I can’t recommend any of the MagSafe cases they sell. The MagSafe card is cheap and flimsy. They should’ve manufactured a case with the MagSafe component directly moulded into the plastic. Give it two months to half a year and the case will lose its shape. The Aneu case is slightly more rugged and the figura is pretty, but the overall cons of the cases outweigh the pros.
Anyways to clean that case as the white areas turned yellow after couple of months 😢

You sure they are backwards compatible? As far as I know the button layout is different on iPhone 13 pro

PSA: iPhone 13 buttons are not in the same location as the 12 series the case in not backwards compatible

How is the raised camera protection? I like my iphone 8plus case that lays flat. I feel that would wobble when on a desk.
it wont lay perfectly flat but you can still use ur iphone without it wobbling

The Blue OtterBox Figura is beautiful, feels nice in the hand, it’s not slippery at all, and does protect the phone well. I highly recommend it!
