I have aggressive stage 3 pc and is currently controlled by Lupron, I'll be starting radiation therapy soon. I regret that I did not have the money to go to a naturopathic clinic because the treatment for cancer is medieval medicine, it is brutal and invasive and the death rate has not changed in 50 years. I don't like being a lab rat and may elect to die from the cancer and not from the treatment.

I have heard that chemo only extends life by 12-15 months. To me that hardly seems worth the pain and side effects that chemo causes.Chemo is so hard on the body and if it extended life by 5-10 years it might be worth it.Please correct me if I am incorrect.

I'm on 4th round of Docetaxel, I have 3-4 days of flu like symptoms (aches in joints and fatigue) so it's not so bad side effects. The critical thing for me going with Chemo was extreme Metastatic bone pain in legs, it has reduced this pain greatly.

@@johnnymandrell2681 But is it possible they would have the same result without the chemo?

@@tnvol5331 no - the doctor's told him he had 6 months without the chemo and that was at the mayo clinic. he said the chemo saved his life and i believe him
