I'm so glad that Dr. Nancy explains things to us. I really enjoy this channel and the education behind it. I appreciate the fact that so much care is being brought to the animals by a real Vet who is so skilled. I know that Doc and Dr. Lydia are very caring and professional as well, but unfortunately for us we don't see them often. Thank you, Dr. Nancy and HP for all the devotion and sincere care for the animals. 🥰
Doing the castration in the stalls is brilliant. You don't have to worry as much about the animal getting hurt falling on the way to the stall❤ Hey Dr. Wonder Woman 😂
Thank you so much Dr. Nancy for sharing everything and explaining it as you go. I just find this so fascinating! I can’t wait to see when a new one comes out! Thank you so much for all you and Horse Plus does to save each life or give them the last act of kindness. I admire you all.❤❤❤
YAAAY!!! Apple Jack and Pepi are now good citizens 😃 Way to go Dr. Nancy and Kimberly. Very interesting 🤔 bloodier than I was expecting. Dr. Nancy you are SUPER STRONG....You ripped his "testicles" right off 🤣 Guys don't mess with Dr. Nancy, she means business 🤣🤣🤣!! I love this channel Blessings to all at HSH 🙌 Jennifer
The look on Dr. Nancy's face when that first testicle popped off in her hand was priceless. 🤣 No matter how much equine experience you have, they'll always throw something new at you! Glad the boys got their brain surgery and all turned out well in the end.
5:14 ... and another at 10:58... She did the emasculator's work by hand... on two donkeys. Wowsers. Well, the cutting part, then had to pack it for the clamping/clotting part. Strange it was both of them, but when she says they think they came from the same property I bet its related....either they are actually genetically related or possibly a care/nutrition kinda thing...probably genetic...friable scrotum connective tissue. 8:42 more chat on the first packing...which she removes later on... and after 2nd one at 15:00.
We have an amazing vet with wonder woman strength great video. Thanks for making it. My favorite part is how well she explains everything where I can understand it perfectly.🐝
If they're brothers or father and son, it could explain why they both had that interesting 'issue'. Quirks in anatomy do tend to be passed on in families.
Ive never watched this type castration. Ive done goats, but we banded them. Making sure both sacs were under band. My husband did sometimes cut the lines, but i trusted the bands, never had bleeding nor infections.
4:24 I thought if you cut the tissue out 'in between' then they don't make that 'gelding squelching' sound when they trot, later on in life. I know they don't all make that sound anyway, but removing the tissue really cuts down on it or eliminates that issue.... any thoughts on the validity of that? Maybe not as much of a concern with a donkey that you might not ride or show but that sound on a horse is not very desirable. There can be an issue with a sheath that "accordions" also at a trot...but any reduction of trot squelching sounds like a good thing.
Are they older jacks ?Lol i always feel bad if its a male vet or any male around when you clamp the cord .. lol but they werent as loud as most horses i hear
Why does horse plus vets come up as just a thumbnail on my TV. Nothing else does this and it comes up full-size on my phone. I love to watch this and this drives me crazy.

Ty Horse Plus Vets.
Love seeing the medical procedures with Dr. Nancy!! She explains every step very well, just fascinating. Kim is an excellent helper too.
Poor boys, never mind its for the best in the long run. Best wishes from England UK 🇬🇧
So very interesting! Thanks Kimberley & Dr. Nancy! ❤️ from Michigan 🌊
Thanks for showing a most important procedure for both the Jack and Jenny donkeys 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Great job Dr Nancy xx
Totally irrelevant ..... but Chatty was the best purchase!!! I so love seeing him about the place.
Very interesting video. Dr Nancy and Kimberly make a great team. Thanks for sharing.
So glad you stitch. Some don't believe in it but they can bleed to death easily mules also.
B. I really like how explain the entire procedure.
My RN heart went pitter pat watching you count sponges (gauze)!
Kimberley such a good girl you make a good team with dr nancy❤❤❤❤
nothing better than a well needed Neuter! but some day's the easiest things will go sideways..., good job!
I love how he said don't tell them😂😅
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Dr Nancy, I would suggest you be cautious in telling men what happened with those jacks!
It made me cringe when Dr. Nancy started cutting!😂
Lovely job

Kimberly Is a great helper.
Are there issues with MRSA in horses that you have to worry about?

Nothing like eating breakfast and watching some donkey castrations! 👋🏻🥜 🤣
what's so funny lady?
Goes great with soft boiled huevos with runny yokes.
@@thomasmleahy6218 and punny jokes
Love the video
That was pretty cool 👍
What happened to all the other horses bought at the last auction I miss your utube posts
I wonder if it was happening because they were more “frustrated” as I should say 😂 as the others at this time 🤔
I expected to see a Henderson castration. I didn't expect that, interesting.
Job well done
😮😊
Ive always been told that lidocaine helps reduce the bleeding

great
Omgosh, this is the first close up castration I've watched, its messy an cringe worthy but fascinating stuff 😂
You get used to it if you see enough done.
Going to have a loud barn
Hello from Boulder Colorado USA 🎉 where are y'all at
Patrolling the comments almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter
What if Dr Nancy used lidocaine with Epinephrine? Would it prevent the initial squirt of blood? Just wondered because it reduces bleeding in people.
may I suggest incorporating diathermy and legasure in performing castration i belive it will be bleedless surgery.
Is Dr Nancy limping while pushing cart? Stay well please. 🙏
This should be gross, from what Dr Nancy said over on the main channel. 😬😆
I’ve seen many castrations but none so strange 😮
Are they older jacks ?Lol i always feel bad if its a male vet or any male around when you clamp the cord .. lol but they werent as loud as most horses i hear
Apple jack has stripped hind legs. Both Pepi and Apple jack get to pretend they still have balls with gauze packing.
❤
Why no lidocaine in the second goat?
Is there going to be anything about the horses you got at the last auction?

California Janie Lou.
👍
Gemma where are you .?
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

The videos that i put on my parents TV didn't cover the whole screen. I don't know if they're all that way though?
