So Kimishima is the grandson of legendary Japanese luthier Masaru Kohno.
He worked for Masaki Sakurai for the past 15 years until he finally decided to create his own models, which are part of the Kohno Guitar Manufacturing lineup.
The beautiful spruce soundboard of this guitar is reinforced with six fan braces underneath and decorated with a very beautifully designed Kimishima’s signature rosette. It offers very charming tonal qualities with an incredible balance throughout its voicings.
Overall, a very charming instrument which we can recommend to anyone looking for a top-quality concert instrument.
