I remember at the Skylark a club on lackland Air Force Base-HeAring White lines by grandmaster flash. Man that intro , that beat gave the introsl to that song something mysterious. Its was totally new at the time for a rap song -when it used to be storytelling rap-- that the intro to sound like that! It made put down whatever it was that you were currently doing and just listen because it sucks you in!

Actually ,I had the special privilege of meeting grandmaster flash. The Man was very humble,very congenial super nice guy and so easy to talk to but I was starstruck trying to caught me off-guard so we sat there at the airport for about 45 minutes and talk about music theory at the time it was funny he was told my music therapy grandmaster flash California airport and on the flight home two days later, I got seated next to Jerry Stiller Ben Stiller's father who was sitting in coach by the way instead of first class and this was early 90s
