Glad to see Jones going to see a therapist. It’s an are first responders need more and are pretty crappy at doing (myself included) but it helps. Once I got up the nerve to see the therapist at our ambulance station, it helped quite a bit to help. I dealt with a lot of traumatic injuries as a paramedic in London and a lot of stabbings, gun shots were rare but they happened every now and then but never really effected me as knife wounds did. The thing bout a knife wound is someone got up close and personal and pushed that blade into another human being. It’s a deeply personal act and I think that’s why they effected me.
Your daughter, she really needs therapy. She’s carrying a lot and as ana bused kid she may not even realise that it wasn’t normal behaviour and that can really screw you up. She’s obviously been through hell and needs professional help to get through it. Tell her you go to therapy, tell it helps you and ask if she’d like to go with you?
Really enjoyed the insight into Alice’s character and look forward to learning more about her
