Stacey can never keep her knickers up 😂
They're down more than I've had hot dinners😂
The man still had the cheek to say it was a joke. Oiii Max is actually INSANE
That’s why’s the 🐐
THE GOAT!
Hahaha
Max said was a joke because he knows he has been caught
Max pissing down people's backs and telling them it's raining
i remember watching this with my whole family, no one said anything for the entire episode until it was done. it was the quietest we've ever been :')
I remember too, back then. It was like watching a last penalty kick that would win your beloved team a tournament
One of the most historic moments in easterners history!
I remember watching this on broadcast at eight years old, barely understanding what was going on and I’ve watched more or less every episodes since 😅
One of the historic moments in EE history but definitely not the most. Like the day Dot passed way now that tops a lot if not all of them.
“Here’s ya go Dot” 😂😂
Literally at that point when I read this 😂😂😂
Now 16 years later, Stacey’s getting it on with Jack 😭 what’s everyone’s obsession with the Brannings
Jesus why Jack want her crazy ash
Stacey will go with anything what moves
@@jimmykray9583 same can be said for the rest of the cast...what puzzles me is they will scoop the bottom of the barrel to do it as well
You mean Stacey’s obsession with the brannings
so iconic, everyone was at the edge of their seats !!
Jo Joyner was the star of the showing during these eps. You could feel Tanya’s shock, anxiety and rage.
Jo Joyner is such an expert, she's one of the best natural actors I've seen, she can do so much with just her facial expressions.
It's sad that she doesn't get much credit just cuz she isn't an iconic character or meme machine like Sharon, Kat and Stacey.
She sure was.
If only she hadn't messed her line up on that live episode, she would still be in EE
Yeh, Lacey Turner cannot act anything either than a screaming banshee even now. Jo was good, but again she plays a very bland character in everything . Stacys ugly
I totally agree, I think She is one of the very best to ever appear in Eastenders!!
The affair created a ripple in the family. Laurens drinking for starters
How
max got buried alive, then ran over, laurens drinking thats right, bradley fell off the roof, then abi branning died by falling off the same roof etc
Didn’t Lauren drink because she had to carry the burden of her mum having cancer alone ?
@@jakejames4005Tbf Bradley dying had nothing to do with the Satcey and Max thing. It was Stacey killing Archie that caused that.
Lauren started drinking because she knew about Tanya’s cancer diagnosis and had to keep it a secret. Max’s affair had nothing to do with it
"Even Jack, he kissed you. Made me feel sick." Foreshadowing ;)
I know people like to bring up Her blunder in the live episode but for Me Jo Joyner (Tanya) is an amazing actress.
Her facial expressions are incredible, She doesn't even have to say a single word to steal the scene, one of the very best!!
Prime Era of Eastenders What A Time !🍿
I remember watching this!! This episode was brutal, back when eastenders was worth watching.
Max thought he was gonna get away with it. He is so manipulative
He sure is
He had that to his own son, so sleazy. Makes me want to vomit
Imagine doing this to your own son.
Branning male: *exists*
Stacey: 👀
I actually remember watching those scenes the day they were broadcast.
Same! What a time
Classic Christmas episode. Unforgettable
lmao 😂😂😂😂😂 you gotta respect max attempts 'what you think that was real' bloody incredible 😅
No because that’s gaslighting
Max, Bradley and Sean. Three gingers. One room. I'm surprised there wasn't a bloodbath!😂
I don't even watch Eastenders anymore but this took over the country by storm
The entire family??? This is SICK lmaoo
Jack and Stacy are disgusting people🤢
I can never bring myself to fully watch this scene. I cringe 😬
I’m still sitting on the edge of my seat after all these years
😅🤣😅
Stax is the most iconic storyline of the show, and it was the blueprint for how affairs reveals should be done on soaps.
Don’t lie. You ain’t my muvva is the most iconic storyline. Can’t even compare the two...💀
@@eve8993 Each to their own
@@eve8993 there both quite iconic but I’m pretty certain this episode is one of the most viewed episodes ever apart from the den and Angie where he give the divorce papers to her I’m pretty certain that is also an iconic moment
How wrong can you be the blueprint for affairs Reval was a story called sharongate......
They had some good writers back then! Not watched ee in years
2023 was a great year on the square. The build up to Christmas was great but it's gone downhill quite rapidly since. Still plenty of time for them to get back on track and get this year on par.
One of the biggest affairs in Eastenders history.
easily one of the most iconic ee scenes
Honeslty I love this scene so much watch it over and over haha
Brooooooooooo I still SCREAM when watching this
this can all be sorted by having a cuppa
Here you go Dot 😂😅
I watched this back when it aired and even now after all this time, I feel genuine anxiety when Lauren and Stacy fight over the DVD, knowing what's on there 😅
Even when “bang to rights”……Max was still trying to make out it was raining while having pissed in all their pockets….Max great character…(proper wrong’en 😂)
"there you go dot" 😂
She still got the Queen’s Speech
So hard to watch but damn that was an episode
Back when eastenders was last good that era & the grant & phill era was the best!
It was the most watchable and addictive television at one point......absolutely loved it ❤
@@starbwoy133 me too haha now i dont have a clue who’s who 😂🤦🏼♀️
@@Queenrissa._.the last time i watched Eastenders was the 25th anniversary when Bradley died
Jack thinking 'I will have a go myself' in about 20 or so years time
Stacey is now the same age as Max was back then.
I’ve not watched Eastenders for years now admittedly….but seeing this again after all these years!!
Jesssuuusss christttt!! 😮😮
I think it hits harder now and I was 21 at the time it aired!
I'm with you......haven't watched Enders in donkeys coz it's just terrible now but there was a time Eastenders was the best show on TV bar none. This episode was a classic 👌🏾
9:41 - “what and you thought that was real” - yeah man whatever max was on during this episode I want it because he is CRAZYYY AGHAHAAHAHA
Peak Christmas EastEnders 😊
One of the most iconic moments in EastEnders history
Dot- you can’t record the queen haha priceless love dot aka June brown
Like you’d leave Tanya for Stacey 😂
Tanya was a milf 👀
Love Max Branning getting caught out and lying about it 😂😂😂
6 year old kids watching this now being like “what is a DVD 👁️👄👁️?”
Not really, since DVDs are still a thing and so are Blu-Rays.
What 6 year old kid wouldn't know about DVD?
@@tokublwhovian yeah true, I just keep thinking about all these subscriptions on streaming now and how you don’t have to watch on DVD anymore 🤣
A better question is, why is a six year old watching someone cheat
on someone in EastEnders?
@@elizza_r0we well I was 6 when I saw Pauline Fowler die 😅 this storyline came out when I was around 6/7
I remember watching this like it was Christmas just gone. In my opinion this was the best Eastenders Xmas episode
This clears everything else
I like the one when archie booted janine out etc..
Well, since then Jack has done more than kiss Stacey bruh. 😂😂😂
Why is this coming on my feed. Hahahaha
Reminding everyone that Eastenders was actually very watchable in years gone by.....now it's just trash! 😂
Awkward family viewing right there 😂
Classic Eastenders, couldn’t miss an episode
One of the greatest episodes in British TV 😂
Will never understand what all these women saw in Max, I don’t get it.
Right? He’s so creepy.
I understand jack but not max
Max is weirdly hot lol
@@addiasfan2279 ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww
@@jaredporikos2197 what? He’s a hot daddy type
i loved this wedding, when tanya played the video and burried max lol
We will never get scripts like this again.
Stuff like this always makes me feel for abby. Before she died she was more of a villain but really I think she just needed help, all this stuff that happened to her was bound to cause some damage and it really showed that just before she died with the Steven stuff. If only abby got a happy ever after. I feel like Lauren was always the child with top priority so Abby was always left out.
Abby was naive but sympathetic to Max.... Lauren coming back wasn't ideal. She's just bloody annoying and always a contrarian. Get rid
Dvd rentals were never the same in the eastend after that Christmas
One of the best Christmas episodes ever of eastenders the buld up to it had u on the edge of your sit i remember watching this with the family. 😲
Tanya was absolutely fit
Eastenders is beamed from a parallel universe, where everything is opposite to real life.
Luckily they didn’t watch the bonus footage
Max even when is exposed in broad daylight is such a great liar jake wood is a stellar actor
This was EastEnders at its most scandalous. Sharon Gate was another topper along with Den and Angie's Christmas divorce
Classic east enders
Im glad Stacy's storyline nowadays is money problems, she feels more fuller like an everyday mom dealing with expensive nessicieties.
I hated this storyline
And I hate how Stacey, no matter how much she screws up, is always the victim.
I mean, Max Branning? Euuuuw
stacey wanted to hurt Bradley in the worst way possible by sleeping with his dad, not more than once either. the only issue with that is that over time, if u keep having sex with the same person, even if u have stated u just want to be friends or keep it as just that, feelings do happen which u don’t expect. men are more likely to catch them if the sex is carried on over time, women are more likely to catch them if they had already liked the person
she also wanted to hurt Bradley because he hurt her
This scene deserves many doofs !
I don't know what's worse. That wedding video or Alan Titchmarsh.
Who remembers when Max played Kill Crazy in Red Dwarf?
God i remember this😂
This is a Christmas classic
So was 1994
The repercussions of this affair are unsurpassed...
1. Tanya trying to bury Max alive.
2. Tanya getting with Jack.
3. Lauren trying to run Max over.
4. Stacey killing Archie.
5. Bradley's death.
6. Lauren's alcoholism
7. Kirsty Branning.
8. Max getting sent down for Lucy's murder.
9. Lauren and Abi falling off the roof of the Vic.
10. Abi's Death and Lauren leaving.
Sean and tanya had brief fling aswell
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
@@jacklancaster8622and stacey and steven
Everything broke down after Max and Stacey's affair
Lauren didn’t need to tell them not to put the DVD on because they deserved to know the truth and I’m glad they found out because max’s wife ( forgot her name ) didn’t deserve that.
I remember her name now it was Tanya I think?
@@Lily-pj8bryeah
Incredible
Stacey was crying because she got caught. Bradley was very very angry. He had every right to be. His own father betrayed him
Amen thank you peace and blessings
Watching this now I’m older I can see the appeal of Max. When I watched this in my teens I did not get it. Lmao
This makes me sick how stacy can do that to bradley
Ol cherry cheeks got done bad 🤣🤣🤣🤣
When stacey was 🔥🔥
Shut up
Not a man in Walford who would turn the chance to jump on Saucy Stace. Propah sort.
Ahhh remember DVDs?
Stacey was just for the streets 😂
EastEnd bike
Lol!
I'd be saying to Max "How come you won't give me the remote if you're so innocent
I'm sorry
It just happened
This was peak Eastenders, how it fell off
Titchmarsh!
Ahaa!! Love Max branning! 😂😂
imScott
🤓🤓
*disc drops to the floor
“you don’t wanna see it, you really don’t”.
Anyone normal with actual human feelings:
“ah alright then darl, do your editing or whatever you need to do - we’re gonna watch the Queen’s speech anyway”.
Bang.
End of storyline.
Nobody finds out.
Eastenders continues as normal.
He said he loves me im so sorry
Max is a bad father.
Stacey looks so young here
GOAT
He grabbed me by my hair and threw me on the ground an it just happened
Was was 41 on here and Stacy was 17
