While it was really scummy-creepy of Quagmire to date Meg, I was not exactly rooting for Peter and Lois here either. They're still terrible people.

Oh yeah. Like creepy evil character does something good for once because he feels bad. Peter seems to kind of care about Meg more in recent seasons. Or he doesn’t bully her as much anyway. She’s become less of a punching bag. But still a far cry from a loving family.
