A lot of people like the look of smooth welds that have been ground down which gives the appearance of no weld at all. Personally, as an old welder, I love the appearance of a nice bead. Another thing that I think most people are unaware of is that a weld that has been ground smooth is also weaker due to being thinner and more susceptible to stress cracks.
Man you should get yourself a dealership , I bought my Himiway Cruiser because of your review 3 yrs. ago
and Now I have bought a Wired cruiser because of your fantastic reviews . Keep up the great work , I totally appreciate it because there's no dealers where I live and you make it possible for us to get a good picture of what all these good e-bikes entail .
You couldn't be more correct when you say there are a ton of ebikes on the market! It's almost overwhelming, especially if you're new to the industry. Thanks for the video
Watching your video makes me think if it would be a good idea to set up some kind of test ride and ordering center for e bikes, where people that want to purchase one, but don't know what to get, can go in, compare, ride different models and pick one best for their needs. Then they can place the order and the operator can get some kind of commission from the sale.
Fantastic interview GM mr C
Great idea! I would be willing to drive from Middle Georgia to North Carolina and pay Mr Citizen for that opportunity. And of course sign liability waivers. I have been looking at e-bikes online for approximately one year but want to put my hands on some before ordering.
@@marksmith2134no doubt. I’ll head to Ga to test as well.
This was a great video. I think it really helps in making a decision about what bike to buy when you see them side by side. I really can't say which is my favorite but that Wired bike intrigues me.
I have the previous version of the Euphree City Robin and it’s great for pedaling as a normal bike. The 27.5 x 2.1 tires are very easy to roll at 45psi, even with my 240lbs on it. I have the seat and handle bar riser raised to their limits for my 6’2”, 34” inseam body and almost have full leg extension while pedaling sitting near upright. It’s a very comfortable ride with the SunTour seat post, much better than the Pogo stick style. I don’t do much throttle only high speed riding, but it showed a indicated 27mph on flat land, no wind. I haven’t verified the accuracy.
I chose this bike specifically because it appeared to fit my dimensions and to be used as a pedal bike with the option of power for longer distances or weather retreat. It hasn’t disappointed.
My correspondence with Euphree was similar to Lectric, very friendly and helpful. I haven’t had any issues with either product so just simple setup questions.
Euphree is one of the few inexpensive and reliable bikes that targets those not wanting balloon tires and prefer riding in a traditional, comfortable style. The Mustache bars and comfortable Velo seat are also a added bonus.
Love these comparison videos you do it really does help seeing them side by side like , thanks man keep up the good work 💪👍
You have great unbiased reviews! Keep up the good work!
Great job with your video's.... They're so helpful! I'm leaning toward the Wired Freedom.
Have you looked into any aftermarket rear shocks that could easily retrofit the stock Wired Freedom one for more cushion?
Once again, you provided terrific info, love your attitude man!
Great job, some of the best comparison reviews out there.
You are very good at presenting the specifications and your editing is excellent. I have an aventure 1.0 and it’s great. I am looking for a second bike and between the wired freedom (because of this video), the Kepler, and himiway Big Dog for something different. Have you ever reviewed the Big Dog? What are thoughts on it?
I just got a Ocelot Pro 2 weeks ago and I can confirm no cruse control. I'm really happy with it lots of power and speed.
Citizen,awesome video,thanks for all your hard work👍👍
Always great reviews and videos. The only thing which I would like you to do get back all these bikes and tell us about their customer service response and quality. Thank you! Keep the great work!
I loved the wired as I own one. I loved the weld look too! And programming you can add or subtract for more range. I change it all the time which I wish would be quick or easier to do but whatever....going fast or a distance....
Great comparison review. I'm close to a decision on my first e-bike purchase, and the Aventon 2 is at the top of my list (partly because I saw your earlier review on it, but also because I have a dealer fairly close-by and won't have to order online/assemble it). However in this review, you caught my attention when you gave its battery amp-hr/watt figures being so low.
So could you answer a couple questions ..... is there an interchangeable and compatible battery that would work on this bike, to give it higher range without losing top speed and hill-climbing power? In your earlier review, you mention loss of power when battery gets down to 25%. A different battery might extend that?
Even though I just bought a new bike I always watch and appreciate your videos good job
great video, thx for the info, never had an e-bike, have recently been looking into them, the Adventon 2 was the 1st I looked at, but the Wired one you mentioned seems pretty good. How can I decide between the two, also any good suggestions on locks for them? Any really good anti theft ideas?
Great Video it makes it easier to shop for bikes with informative channel like yours.
Wow great review video!!! Got one, lookin for another one , just like you said would happen More NM lol. Don’t need a ton of travel on a “ commuter” like the wired. Those fenders look better than most factory fenders nice job.
Wow ! Great review I wish I would have seen this before I bought my first bike , I like mine but now I want full suspension of the Cobra pro , on the Wired Freedom power house !
Awesome review! The best I’ve seen. Great comparison! Thank you! 🙏
Great reviews. I'm looking for an Ebike for myself and my wife for allround riding from country roads to railtrail and groomed trails. I was leaning toward the new Adventure but came across Freesky, not much out there about them. Be great if you could do a review on the Swift horse or Wild Cat compared to Aventon. Love to See It! Keep it up, good stull.
Any suggestions for a 24" fat tire bike, thinking 26" might be just a bit too big.
Being a wee bit on the bigger side (6’8 - 285 - 36” inseam), do you have a recommendation for an ebike that would accommodate my dimensions? Thank you.
Thank You for This Excellent Video. I love my New E. Bike I bought it a month ago from a local E Bike & Scooter Shop. I have it custom with a side mirror, Fedog™ horn/alarm, INWA™blue tooth speaker for music, bottle holder with a Thermal bottle, a flat key steel bike U-Lock, CarryBright™front and rear turn signals (it already came with front and rear lights with break lights), a HOMCOM™Trunk, a personalized 'JOE' bicycle license plate and a suspension seat from my old scooter. I use a VCAN™Helmet with a Face Visor most of the time and VCAN™ Open Face Helmet for warm days. I will be adding a phone mount when my handle bar extender arrives which should be later today. :)
The e-scout pro by Young Electric looks very similar to the Himiway 1000 wa 20ah battery , but hard tail , but the difference between level 2 & 3 is almost un detectable but a huge difference in power when you switch to level 4 ! Then not much difference to 5 , is there anyway to even those settings out ? Basically level 3 is too week , loads of power on 4 and 5
Super comparison! 20 inch or 26 inch, why one or the other? Can u get a 26 inch that folds and to make it super useful have dual 750 watt motors like the Fabulious? Bike on……
I've seen 26inch folding bikes but never one with dual motors
New to the Ebikes. Great video, thank you.. Question - what about Ariel Grizzley V2? It seems like know one includes this bike when comparing to others. I would like to know your thoughts.. Thx
11:25 so the "new" rear shocks on the Wired Freedom are these right? Do they perform better on the wired or this bike?
My wired freedom arrives in about a month, super excited! Which Steady Rack works with it? The website specified one for fat tire bikes but not with fenders so I am confused if any of them work at all?
15 May i know how you feel just as excited counting the days off. Its going to be a great bike i hope you have loads of fun with yours
We just picked up a used Himiway step-thru cruiser and this thing is a beast. It's solid and runs like a champ. I am sold on Himiway for sure. We got a great deal because the bike was too big for the seller's wife and it's easy to see why. It's a beefy, solid machine. It has the 4 inch fat tires and will go anywhere you want to go.
Happens all the time, people buy these bikes and when they arrive they find out they're way too big
Great great freaking job on this video very well put together…. Thank U
I’m looking to upgrade my Aventon Aventure e-bike. Do you have any ideas about an upgraded Controller and LCD?
Wish you had a Lectric up there. Love the bike and have bought 3 of them. Both the 2.0 and 3.0 models [like the 3.0 better] I travel all over this USA for my work and take one with me and I have it folded up in the backseat of a 2006 convertible VW Beetle. It does take up the entire seat but at least I can still go riding when on the road. My at home bike is the Aventon Aventure and have put over 1500 miles on that bike. Thinking about a new one and loved the review of the aventure 2 but now I’m wondering about that wired freedom. Damn you Ciizencycle for making me learn things. Thanks for the videos
Good info. Thank you!!!!
Thanks i thought that was really informative.and you executed very well..gave me a few ideas..i wasnt realy a fan of the fat tyre ebikes but i think you have sort of changed my mind...all round good vid
.
Great bikes, they all seem much better than the restricted crap here in the Uk
Do you have to order the Aventon, and if so, does it come all assembled?
That fabulous bike looks ridiculously awesome!!!
Was thinking of getting the wired freedom. At the $2300 it would cost , would you recommend another bike in that price point? Or is wired the way to go?
Does the Magi cycle ocelot Pro come with a walk mode by any chance?
I wish someone like you would review the e-scout pro , they must be fairly new on the market , under $2000 , it was the best deal (at the time) that I could find in my area , 20ah Btry. , 7 speed Shimano , 5 levels assist, throttle , fat tire 26”x4.5” and solid so far , my only complaint is how the 5 levels are spaced , it almost feels like 3 levels , and the bike is a little bigger than what I would like , but that is just me ,
Hey Citizen, I'm Debating getting the Fabulous Havoc X2 (right now I have a first generation Aventon Aventure, but recently moved to to a third floor apartment with no elevator, so storing it has become a challenge) and saw it has a torque sensor on it. How is the Havoc in terms of pedaling? While I like my Aventure, the cadence sensor almost always felt like I was ghost pedaling when I did want to pedal it, so hoping getting a bike with a torque sensor improves on that for when I do want to pedal.
Also have seen one or two comments say a torque sensor with a mid drive vs hub motor does feel different, have you experience that at all? As always appreciate your work!
The new Adventure 2 has a torque sensor instead of the Cadence sensor
Wow that's what Sunshine looks like, we don't see that too often in New Hampshire,
For Reals!
Not sure if anyone mentioned it yet, but Himiway now has the rack and fenders for the Cobra.
Good to know! thank you for commenting, I hadn't checked their site in a while
excellent video ,very informative. i,m 6 ft, 235 lb, and i find all stock seats on any model to small for me ,can you recommend a good larger seat please. i,ve not decided what bike brand to buy yet. thanks
I usually buy Bikeroo seats, they tend to be a lot wider than stock seats
You just gotta brag about the Peewee bike man. I'm 45. Peewee was what I grew up too. I'm jealous. I think the only other thing I could possibly be more jealous of is wds General Lee charger. But the bike is pretty close.
I thought you were about to announce a yard sale, lol maybe next week. Great overview of these bikes.
Haha maybe someday, that would be interesting
Do you have a video about the Damson Burchda?
I have a Rad Rover 6 Plus and I am thinking about modifying it to a AWD for more power and speed. I was thinking I would need a 750W front wheel motor with controller and a second battery. What’s your opinion? Good idea/bad idea?
19:11 they really need to have a system that allows you to determine how much motor power for front and rear independently so you don't get all that crazy wheel spinning on the front which could be managed a lot better if it were 60/40 or 70/30 instead of 50/50 because in my opinion makes a lot more sense to do it that way
How did you get the weight on the Cyrusher Ranger ? Cyrusher says 63# alone, 74 # with battery, and 90 # is packaged weight . I bought the Ranger because it was 1 # heavier than the Aventure.
The Cyrusher bike is a tank, came in at 90 pounds on my scale. The Aventon weighs 78 pounds. ebike websites almost always list the weight lower than it actually is.
I love your videos but you’ve just confused me even more. Keep up the great videos and stay safe!
Awesome video man! I had no idea about that very fast one, the WIRED! Tell me you think that’s the best bang for the buck?? I mean that much power, larger battery, realy cool design, does it have torque sensors?
Wired has a cadence sensor. It's pretty tough to beat power for the money.
I'm trying to find where to purchase 26x4 fat tire rims (100mm)and good quality; rims are very important and know one ever empathizes
on quality of rims.Any suggestions would be considered looking into thx.
Hey, you have good taste. Thank you for sharing your insights.
WOW! thank you soo much :) Glad you enjoyed the video.
Well citizen cycle I am 5'5" tall and I really like the wired freedom bike. I am a first time ebike rider. Which should I choose wired freedom or fabulous Duel motor ebike?
Between those two bikes at five foot five inches tall I would pick wired freedom
Please do a video on the KD718 display. Does the display increase top speed on the Lectric XP?
They have a list on the robinson cycle website of bikes it's compatible with. I don't think Lectric is one though.
Hey buddy waiting on my wired freedom to add to my collection rad 5 with big 3 upgrade with 52v 20amp (how long for delivery of the wired freedom)
Where we can find the bikes online? Or what
How go you get these fixed?Especially the motor
Please review the Hovisco Alpha. I would love your thoughts on it.
What do you think of the beecool adventure
Great informative videos. I know you get a lot of comments but I was hoping you might see and would answer this question for me: do the Bee Cool Adventure and the Wired Freedom have the same battery? I have been researching this and it is difficult to tell, but they look like they might be interchangeable. Could affect a future purchase. Thanks for any info you may have.
Tgey are different styles batteries and also different voltages, not interchangeable.
@@CitizenCycle925 Thanks so much!
Do you all prefer 26*4 or 20*4 tyres? I feel the 20*4 might be kinda hard to maneuver.
I have a 26x4 and love it and I havent rode a 20x4 but I wouldn't think the 20in would be harder to maneuver if anything it probably be easier then the 26in
I have a second bike with 20 x 3 inch tires and it handles like a sports car vs the 26x4 fat tires, not even comparable.
I’m liking the Aventon. I can dream. 😄
Aventon is an awesome bike. I would never steer anyone away from that one.
Watching you from Jamaica
Did you ever consider reviewing any of the Mokwheel eBikes, like the Basalt or Mesa models?
They've reached out to me several times but I've always been too booked up. Perhaps in the future I'll have a chance to try one..
Great video bro!
Torn between the Wired and Avento Aventure 2... I am 6'2 and weigh 330 and i guess my concern is climbing hills but also comfort while pedaling
Both are very comfortable pedaling, Wired is way stronger on hills, Aventon cheaper and has nicer finishings, but Wired has much bigger battery, Good Luck!!
@@CitizenCycle925 Many thanks for the great videos. Your content has helped provided some great insight
Awesome information.
Have you found a way to increase the throttle speed on the Aventon? I saw you did on the himiway?
Yeah, what he ask!
I have not found any way to bypass it yet ☹️
I’m on the fence with getting one for me and my daughter as a first e bike. I like the fact I have a ton of dealers for aventon in my area but the speed is annoying haha
@@williamhiestand8811Did you end up buying it?
I can max out on my 2022 model Himiway cruiser at 25mph. (yes i bumped it up from 20mph factory setting) How much faster could it go with that KD718 Display? $120 is a lot if I'm only gonna get 3 more mph out of it
Not sure on the Cruiser, but my Zebra can go 32mph now, and an upgraded screen on my Cobra brought it to 30mph
Price on the Havoc?.. living near Estes Park CO I'm most impressed by the Wired ebike
Havoc X2 is $2800, you'll need to go to fab-usa.com site to get this version
How do you know what display to buy when you want to change one out? Does it matter?
Good? Hope someone answers that one.
Please , Please just bought 2 Adventon Adventure 2 bikes for me and my wife, can not find any recommendations for these heavy bikes with fenders and step throughs need a bike rack,
do not want to buy that cheater bar, is there one that fits the bill?????? HELP
Thank you
Love ya bro, thx!
Help. I'm shopping for an ebike for my wife (5'5", mid 50s, non athletic). I'm looking at the Wired Cruiser. Do I need to worry about it being Too tall, or too much power?
both of those issues depend on how confident of a ride your wife is... on the wired, she will probably be able to get her feet close to flat on the ground and you can change the settings to make the power not as punchy.
Is there an unlocked DISPLAY 🔐 avl.4 "Wired" bike? 38 Level asphalt stock so maybe 48 Level Rd.w/ HACK ? Plz comment...Tks !
Havoc vs wired freedom?
We purchased this Vivi 27.5” electric bike and a Tentaquil 26” electric bike for our 13 and 14 year olds. czcams.com/users/postUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ The Vivi was much easier to put together. With the Vivi, there was a video link to assist with assembly which made the process easier to follow (we did put the handlebars on upside down, but it was a quick and easy fix). With the Tentaquil, the assembly was not as simple to follow, but after we messaged the company for an assembly video, it was easier and they did respond quickly. The other major differences were that the Vivi has a grip throttle on the right handle (like a motorcycle) and the Tentaquil has a push throttle that you use your thumb to activate. The monitors were also different, so if you’re looking for something specific in terms of changing the bikes functions, pay attention to what the monitor offers. We were really impressed with the overall quality and functionality of both bikes, but if you’re looking for more power and an easier assembly, definitely go with the Vivi!
Thanks for the visit
What about exx one xt from fabulous?
Optimum EBike, less than 60lbs, carbon frame, 50mi range on PA 2 if you're under 200lbs, rear brake light, no locked controller, thumb throttle, torque senser, at least 750 motor rear hub, full suspension, 27 inch wheels, just for starters... Can the manufacturers do it?
does the wired freedom have torque sensors?
Nope
@@CitizenCycle925 ok thanks
Wish they build a touring e-bike
-Get good distance
-Charge quickly
-Have rear and front rack for panniers
-can climb hill
.....have to wait until then😊
It all breaks down to three things. Size/Style, Wattage/Battery storage and then price!
Which ones have removable batteries so i can charge at work
all of them
Hello from Hillsborough NC. Evelo Omega.
Have you ever tried a “Young Electric E-scout pro “ ???
I have not tried that one, I've never seen it before.
Dual motor bikes look cool
Dude, you're like the Hugh Hefner of ebikes. What's up with all the bikes bruh?
Thats what its all about having fun 😊
As always, an excellent video. It would be a great service to about 1/2 of the population if you did a similar review of the best bikes for folks 5'6" and under.
Good suggestion!
How do you find time for this many bikes?
Consumes my free time.
He was talking to me in the first 20 seconds. Idk about yall 😂
Which e-bike would you choose if you can only choose one? Out of those nine
so i own a himiway zebra and you can go faster than 25 with the stock display you just have to turn your tire size down to i think 21in or so. the speed on the dispay will read wrong but me and my GF regularly go 28mph even tho it says we are going 22mph. my guess to why this works is the display does tire circumference X rpm to get mph. so if you lie to it it will do its best to get you to what it thinks is 25mph
