- It's time for one of the most complex orbital assemblies I've ever done - an enormous outpost near the moon, to server as a staging ground for all the missions to come... this is Copernicus Station.

"Who is your favorite filmmaker?"
"TDChannel!"
"I said filmmaker, not yout-"
*"TDCHANNEL!"*
Yeah. I heard Calvin Maclure is good at cinematic videos as well
I concur. They make good content!
"No, TDChannel Is Not A Filmmaker."
@@vitaliylomanoff1759BE QUIET YOU'RE RUINING IT
No way! Cool coincidence seeing you here!
Prepare for Next Trappist-1 mission…
We need it
The story and LORE
BRO IT WILL TAKE FOUR DECADES
"Because of recent leaks, we will now go to the Andromeda galaxy"
Gta 7 will come out before that
I like the names of the launchers. "Saturn Many" "DualStick V" "Saturn AIr"
Yeah😂
Normal people: build the ring piece by piece in orbit. Td channel: nah, just launch the whole thing at once. I love it!
The only way to play KSP is doing what normal people don't. Or at least what russian engineers would consider normal, like a rocket powered hydrofoil barge used to launch a spaceplane and his booster.
Wow. Mate. That was some high level stuff, can't imagine how long it took to plan and record. Really impressive
Thank you! :)
Probably about 2 months, though could've been within a month or so if I had more time.
@@TDChannelKSPSo many things done so fast?incredible!
Holy cow I can’t even build a rocket
@@TDChannelKSPbro the editing in this video and the preparation is insane
greatest ksp series of all time
Just incredible! Felt like I was watching a film!
This Video Deserve Millions View ❤
@VECTAVERSE I'm your big fan I like your content very much like TD Channel you play sfs and jno so goooddd❤❤😄
The return of The Destroyer was fortold... and what a return!
Great work TD, docking two huge pieces at once must have been painstakingly difficult.
This is some for all mankind worthy stuff
For all mankind is downright dystopian compared to this timeline
@@oberonpanopticon it’s becoming the expanse lmao
@@Omoz_2021 By the time this timeline catches up to the expanse humanity will have spread across the whole of Orion’s arm
I would never have enough dedication to do this! Keep up the excellent work!
Can't wait to see Proxima Kentauri
Funny martincitopants reference
kou kean kroxima kentauri?
THERE ARE SATURNS BEING USED AS BOOSTERS
SATURNS USED AS BOOSTERS EVERYONE
This is insane lmao, absolutely love it
100% going to be worth the wait
amazing work as always
Wow. Words can't describe just how epic every one of your videos is. You could honestly make me cry with a mission to LEO with what your doing 😆. Highest respect mate, keep this up.
I like how it was completed on November 3 just like how the ISS got its first crew on November 3
THANK YOU! This is freaking AWESOME! =)
Amazing, as always!
Wow
That cool
I can’t wait!
Isn't this the station from project Tholia?
Indeed it is!
Its just unbelieveable how cool these projects are
My laptop cannot really handle visual mods, but man they do look good!
I am still trying to figure out a way to go intlerplanetary more efficiently, and then interstellar... i hope
Well done, as always!
15:18 that kerbal just bouncing around is just so funny to me
0:23 man you should make a full poster version of that
I love the bootleg interstellar docking scene at 17:45
Very cool video. You are a lot better at KSP than I am.
Beautiful
best thing i've ever watched.....in my life
super underrated channel
Wait! Isn't that station the same station in Project Tholia which you docked USS Enterprise with?
That's correct! (USS Defiant)
@@TDChannelKSPonce again that ship was sick I’m making my own still after like 5 months if you remember 😂
Your videos are good
Thank us? No way dude, you did all the hard work!
It's going to be here tomorrow, but what will be next, a long awaited crewed mission to Trappist 1 maybe.
Thats what the space agency was doing while tholia was out at venus
Genuine question, why state the obvious?
@@oberonpanopticon idk cuz i can
YAY! the origin of the Copernicus station

Holy moly
Wow I can't wait for the colonisation of the moon and mars
Awesome
WE BE COMING BACK WITH NCC-1013 WITH THIS ONE🔥🔥🗣️🔥🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
Nice
Wow. It's been a long road, getting from there to here.
Can't wait to see who Copernicus plays host to next...hopefully something more 1701?
_IT’S BEEN A LONG TIME, BUT MY TIME IS FINALLY NEAR_
Hi TD.
Amazing work with the video. It's nice to see you back on the Terminal Velocity timeline again.
Just one small thing.
PLEASE stop the twin launches. Nothing ruins your immersion in the story more then seeing 2 rockets launch at the same time.
Besides the obvious saftey issues with this, theres no way both builds would be finished at exactly the same day and same time in order to allow this. With smaller rockets (and i'm talking much smaller like an original titan) this might be fine, but when these multi-megaton structures are launching symoltaniously, with a chance of catastrophic failure taking the other rocket out, it's just not fun to watch knowing there's 0 chance anything like this would happen.
At the risk of sounding Pretentious, even if you wont stop doing it, 3 times a video for the rest of time is sure to just make it a regular old trope (and i know how long these shots take so you definitely dont want that for all your work)
Other then that it's amazing what you did here. The work must have taken ages to design and make that multicraft ring. Having made one myself before ksp motors were a thing (albeit a smaller one) i understand the pain it takes.
Keep making amazing videos and cant wait till the next Terminal Velocity episode...
What do you call a payload specialist when your payload is crew? :D
But this was beautifully done, and I love the ending. :)
Hey TD Channel!!! You are a slimeshlobbler!
What does that mean? 🤷🤷
Goodie
lunar gateway if NASA had balls
try making that into an interplanetary space station
Your content is so cool could you try interstellar extend and the system with the black hol and worm hole mod please
bros alternate timeline had smartphones before vhs
Kerbels rule!
Noce video
Dear TD Channel,
I want you to make a manned grand tour of the solar system using VASIMR power. The destinations are in this order:
1. The moon
2. Mercury
3. Venus
4. Mars
5. Jupiter (Europa)
6. Saturn (Titan)
7. Uranus (Miranda)
8. Neptune (Triton)
9. Pluto
This should be an international cooperation between the USA, Russia, China, India, Europe, and Japan. The launch for the ship-UNS , should be used with SpaceX rockets, NASA rockets, Russian rockets, ESA rockets, Chinese rockets, Indian rockets, and Japanese rockets. The crew should consist of 8 astronauts-4 females and 4 males:
- a female commander
- a male pilot
- 3 female mission specialists
- 3 male mission specialists
The crew should launch on a Buran-Energia space shuttle consist, since Buran is fully automated. This mission should take up to 6 years. It should end with the Buran taking the crew home.

Dylan Baker
How much time did it take to sync the docking of the two space station halves.
That part wasn't too bad - get them both the same distance apart, quickly switch on MJ docking autopilot.
The hard part was getting the camera path timing right on (since they slow down as they approach), so that took a few quicksaves (maybe 30 min)
Any tips as I have no idea what I’m doing when it comes to interplanetary travel
Pretend you’re going from low Kerbin orbit to the mun, except LKO is kerbin’s orbit around the sun and the mun is whatever planet you’re trying to visit
18:01 interstellar reference
Lunar Gateway if it was good
How many funds did that cost?
My most expensive mission so far (Not RSS/RO btw) was Artemis 1, a large crewed mission to the Mun, 3 astronauts, 4 tourists, it cost around 250,000 funds, but it was worth it >:)
u think you'll be able to upload a blueprint on each build after completion so we can replicate it?
Unfortunately at this point the save file and modlist is fairly specific and a couple years old - they'd need updating to latest RP-1 express install before I'd be able to easily share them, which is a bit of a daunting task.
@@TDChannelKSPhello beither
is everything in this video sped up because im pretty sure this would lag a computer, if not, you have a very very very very very good computer
It is indeed sped-up, though I also have a very good PC. I use software to automatically remove duplicate frames, lag spikes, stutters, etc, and then speed it up from there.
@@TDChannelKSPWhat software?
@@lancisman Ffmpeg
Yo, can you tell me wich mod are these?
Most of the mods I use can be found in the RO & RP-1 express installation! github.com/KSP-RO/RP-1/wiki/RO-&-RP-1-Express-Installation-for-1.12.3
I think the station parts are from "Stockalike Station Parts Redux"
Lazarus mission pls Interstellar
Humanity if tiktok didnt exist:
How do you keep managing to one up yourself every time whats next a mission to alpha Centauri in 1975?
Alpha Centauri mission in terminal velocity was after sending archive data I think it about 2025-2030
So….. are Jeb and Val Gonna Stay the rest of their lives on copernicus station or will it be their last mission
In my mind, Jeb and Val stay on Copernicus station, becoming the first people to live permanently away from Earth, before dying at some point (who knows what the expected lifespan of kerbals are without an explosive rocket to help them?)
@@TDChannelKSPoh Thanks for the Clarification.
meanwhile i can't even get an orbit in rss :_)
If I had a nickel for every lunar space station named Copernicus station I’d have 2 nickels (I just so happened to make one named that in SFS)
