Imagine being a demon, breaking out of hell, and this dude says hi. He says he need to use the bathroom, and he’ll be right back. Being a demon, you decide to follow and try to kill him. He turns right and you go after, only to see a dead end. Suddenly, you hear foot steps behind you as he appears and walks into another door. As you start following again, you notice the hallway you came in from was gone. As you are distracted, he closes the door he was going through behind him. When you open the door, you see another room that doesn’t resemble the one the man walked into at all. You keep opening doors and walking through hallways forever, trapped in this new hell for eternity. Sometimes you see the man who lives here, seemingly knowing where he is and where to go. But you can never seem to follow him.

i do really like the detail of how the xp bar jumped from 68 to 137 after the trip back from the nowhere room, implying that the journey took ages. i thought that was a nice touch.

Even with this being made from a mod the use of the mod still ingenious. The way he plays with perspective is colorful and scream of artistic passion and dedication. It really makes you feel like Batman, 7/10.

The engineers were drunk so they kinda changed the designs, the blueprint is for a normal house

I've never seen this much done with this mod. I can't even begin to figure out how you did the hallway with the door that follows you.
Yeah, I wonder about that one too. Here is what I think: the guy from the video may have put a portal on each block in the hallway, so that when you pass through you enter a new hallway (unknowingly), which is a block shorter than the previous one. However that sounds very cumbersome and there may be a more clever solution.
@@veselinborisov369 Yeah, I thought of that too. It would probably be possible to use just a single hallway though. Perhaps a one-way, one-sided portal on every block leading back to the beginning.
@@0rangepel378 Sorry I may have misunderstood you, but how would bringing the player back to the beginning of the hallway work? Wouldn't that just result in an infinite loop, considering we still talk about a single-hallway solution?
@@veselinborisov369 The portals only work from one side, so when going down the hallway in one direction, they don't affect you, but in the other direction, they do.
@@0rangepel378 I still don't see how the portals will work. Where will they bring you? If a portal leads you to the beginning then you will walk infinitely. That is why I think the portal leads you to a new hallway that is a block shorter than the previous one.

Ever since I was a kid, I've had a recurring dream of being in a mall that you have to traverse in this way. It's always the same and I remember the path to take to get to very specific stores. It's not infinitely big, though, and over the years I've memorized the whole building.

I mean genuinely imagine a restaurant that folds in on itself, the building is just a small shed with a desk person for reservations. They you walk behind a pillar and get to the dining hall which is 100x times as big as the chef.

As someone who's never heard of this before, I'm assuming "non-euclidian" is just the smart, sciencey way of saying "nonsensical black voodoo magic"
Euclidean geometry is stuff that follows the laws laid out by the mathematician Euclid. In English, stuff like squares. Or triangles. Or hexagons.
Weirder geometry is often not described by said laws, and so we get, well, stuff like this.

@@that_orange_hat Yeah, it is a mod called Immersive Portals, and that is why I think this took so much effort. I have already used this mod to make houses like that and it is an absolute pain to use, and takes a lot of tweaking to get it right
