Runner-up in this heat. Kind of an overrated runner-up I believe, as I think this is one of the weakest songs. Very Irish country and western type of song.

I agree. Shame it competed when it did - any other year and it would've been a lovely Irish entry. But alas, nothing was better than Niamh Kavanagh that year, and I don't think there's much regret over not sending anyone else.
