I made loads of these using crafty by Toni’s tutorial as well. They turned out awesome and boy do they add so much to a journal. They could be tuck spots, they can just be for decoration, they can be pockets, and they look so great.

These are so cute! ⛈️here, We used to have so many turkeys but l’m thinking the coyote population did them in. So l’m so happy to report l saw a turkey with 1 young one on my pond dam. I took a video and shared. Tough week last week. Do you remember me taking on my grandkids pets? Well they were so old. The last 2 old doggos are gone. I just have BlackBerry left. She’s old too. She’s a sweet outdoor black cat with a white tip tail. Such a journey, we’ve all been on. I feel like a brand new chapter is beginning and a breath of fresh air for us. I just wanted to say how much your videos have helped me get through these past few years. I’ve almost got my upstairs completed and turned into my studio. Good Morning Gayle, great idea. What if you would use the fake faux tape too and use a texture stamp on the tape to bring it out? Have a great time at your retreat and happy to hear you saw your bunny. Yesterday I had a mamma Raccoon and her 3 babies in my yard, hopefully they will not eat my tomatoes and hopefully go back to the woods where they came from. Have a great day! 👍🌻🌻🌻🐇

So glad you got to see Shooter! I have a miniature Dachshund and she stretch just like you described Shooter! She even spreads her front paws like fingers! So darn cute! After she piddles she does a little scratching with her back legs, we call it the Gracie (that's my dogs name) shuffle. But what's so cute is that she often stretches out one back leg and leaves it there for a second. So darn cute!!! We are having high 90's weather! Its sweltering! Praise God for AC!! Love the washie tape on the edges of the word strips! I enjoy both Toni's and Hither and Yon's videos as well! So inspiring!!! Have fun at your retreat! Im teaching a journal making class at a scrpbooking/ fabric store in Lancaster PA next week! ❤😍

Try sanding first. Before inking. Make some parts more sanded than others to help “distress”. I was kinda timid with it at first but I tried to really go to town on it and ended up LOVING it more. I also go around the edges almost like inking and tear up that washi a little here and there.
You can also use the sanding disk to cut the extra washi off the edge. Sand it more and it falls off. You can also fold in spots and sand the paper in between word’s instead of cutting them apart if you really want a cool edge
Stamping with you is always fun. Love the little sanding pads that make things so grungy. I tried to find on Amazon but so far no luck, Will keep looking. 😊
So fun Gayle! I keep meaning to mention, hand sanitizer is so awesome for cleaning up your stamping blocks crystal clean just wipe off with dry paper towel😁
As soon as I read this, I had to pause the video and go try it, but it didn’t work. I don’t know what ink is on my blocks, It might be Stazon. I do know that the hand sanitizer took sharpie marker off of white metal folding chairs, just like magic.

I hope the heat doesn’t get too unbearable for you all. We are in triple digits with the heat index and very high humidity so it’s pretty miserable. We own a roofing company so I feel bad for my hubs and son on roofs all day in this blistering heat. My poor babies. 🫠 TFS Hope the retreat went well and hope you have a fantastic day! 💕💞Hugs!

I think most people have a specific style even though they have a different theme like you can have the same style, but be doing a floral journal or a bird journal or Victorian journal. I don’t know. I don’t have a style either. I guess I would say the theme I do the most is botanical, but I’ve branched out into other things too because something will peak my interest, and then I’ll do that and some things will be like I will never do that again. Some people have a certain style like you can see a Margarete Miller piece and know it’s hers. You can usually see a Rachel at Roxy creations piece and know it’s hers. There’s some other people too, but I’m not thinking who at the moment that you see it and you know it’s theirs.
When it gets hot, don’t forget to put out water for the wildlife unless there is a nearby water source. We have many visitors who come for water in the desert. Love your video!😊

That was a good movie, but it was weird....
Wanted to watch ,,, but too much chuckling and random talking ,,,, too much clutter noise,,, not prepared for project ,,, and work gets sloppy . So ,,, was a “ No” for me .
