My youngest son was just like this! I couldn't shovel the baby food in fast enough and he'd wail! He was a tiny thing too, maybe 4-6 months or so, and he'd eat 2 whole jars at a time. My granny would come to visit and would call my mom to tell my mom that she was worried because I was feeding him too much, too fast! 😆

The mom is trying very hard and she IS feeding it. She has a fussy baby, and it's nobody's fault. It doesn't necessarily mean the baby is starving. Just like us, a baby can be moody and cranky. The mom is staying remarkably good natured and trying her best.

So I haven't checked the comments on this video in a long time. But I've got to say that some of you internet trolls are ruthless lol! This was my boy as a baby, he loved food, and you couldn't feed him fast enough. The water was a recommendation from someone we knew because his poops were always hard, thus the reason my wife was trying to give him water. But just as an update since this was 8 years ago; Evan is now a very smart and healthy 8 year old. He loves sports, has friends, is one of the tallest in his class, loves healthy dinners, and is a very normal, thriving 8 year old. He also now has a 6 year old brother, who is also a thriving, healthy, polite and caring normal kid. Much love people.
You know what I think it is? These people don't have anything else that they can talk as an authority on. But they managed to raise their crotch fruit to adulthood without killing any of them so they are EXPERT PARENTS and they must put you in your place (as INFERIOR PARENTS). Give me a break. This baby is clearly a healthy weight, maybe even a little chunky, he's not being starved- he has a funny quirk when he's being fed. Running late from grandmas house even 30mins could throw my baby off - once they're in that schedule it's set. i understand discipline but i think the baby its a bit to young to understand hunger. maybe when hes a bit older i think maybe the time he know how to walk? then i understand the baby shouldnt demand what he want. thats when i teach him discipline. they say baby hunger is baby pain. its viral that baby need food instantly when theyre hungry for growth. i see it the same way as baby birds. i was given a baby bird to take care because the parent got ate by a cat. i didnr feed one of the bird for 4 hours and it died. the other one survive because i had fed it.

If you don't teach them patience, gratitude, respect, sharing, they won't know these things. If you don't teach them they are not the boss, you will become their servant in no time..... and the education process starts at birth. From the very first minutes, the baby tries to understand things.... if he sees people are scared to hear him cry, believe me he will use it to get anything.... and he won't even see what's wrong with doing it. Why is everybody uptight over this. He clearly is well fed and she's feeding him as fast as she can and if he wants to scream for 1/4 of a second while mom is reloading the spoon, then so be it. He barely has time to swallow anyways so I don't know what this kid is screaming about. What's wrong with giving him water? If I ate as fast as he did, I'd be needing a drink intermittently to either stop or prevent choking. If that babies biggest problems are having to take a few sips of water and waiting an unbearable quarter of a second for more food, then I think he's got it pretty good and doesn't need much sympathy.
I am not opposed to the idea of giving him water. In fact, I strongly dislike the idea of completely holding off on water during feedings that some parents believe in. After practically every spoonful was what I am talking about. It'll kill his appetite.

The biggest problem is she is giving him water. You are not suppose to give a child under 12 months water. They get enough fluid from breast milk/formula. Water is absolutely useless to a child this age as it has absolutely nothing beneficial in it for baby. They need all the nutrition, calories, etc in every food/drink they have as they are growing quickly. Babies have very small stomachs so giving them water like she is just fills their belly giving them the sensation that they're full when they really aren't. It essentially causes them to miss a valuable feeding. Baby is obviously extremely hungry and prefers the baby food over drinking. Mom should have given him more of the food. He may not understand what water is but I'm sure he knows that when he gets that liquid he doesn't feel the way he does when given food or milk. Mom barely fed him any food, maybe she fed him more before she began filming but I find that hard to believe because he wouldn't be so distressed if he had more food to eat than this. Not sure what mom's issue was and why she didn't just get him more food u less she just didn't want him having a lot of it for whatever reason. If that was the case though she should have been giving him milk and not water. This poor child, I feel terrible for him if this is the way she always feeds him. That woukd explain his desperate need of the food. He would always be hungry due to having the useless water. Such a shame that parents don't educate themselves before having a baby as well as during.
@@shaneramlall6481 The baby looks to be about 4-5 months. Any pediatrician will tell you to never try to feed solids (baby oatmeal, puree) to a fussy, hungry baby. These parents aren't following the rules of the professionals. If they were they would have started with a small 2-3 oz bottle of breastmilk or formula to curb the extreme hunger and fussiness, then start spoon feeding so the baby can actually enjoy it, then a little water at the end to sip when she's all done. I do this with my 9 month old and feeding time is always great and fun. This video was annoying beyond levels, these parents clearly lack any basic infant understanding skills.

It's not funny the baby is hungry and the mom is not feeding him enough, the baby can't talk so the only way he can let her know he is hungry is by crying. You need to stop the stupid books, and use your head, our parents did not have books telling them how to do things yet our parents figured it out and did quite well, use your head and not a book and you will be able to to raise a healthy happy child.

If you don't teach them patience, gratitude, respect, sharing, they won't know these things. If you don't teach them they are not the boss, you will become their servant in no time..... and the education process starts at birth. From the very first minutes, the baby tries to understand things.... if he sees people are scared to hear him cry, believe me he will use it to get anything.... and he won't even see what's wrong with doing it. So yeah, the mother in this video is wrong.... such behavior shouldn't be tolerated. She shouldn't feed him as long as he's crying.

Why is everybody uptight over this. He clearly is well fed and she's feeding him as fast as she can and if he wants to scream for 1/4 of a second while mom is reloading the spoon, then so be it. He barely has time to swallow anyways so I don't know what this kid is screaming about. What's wrong with giving him water? If I ate as fast as he did, I'd be needing a drink intermittently to either stop or prevent choking. If that babies biggest problems are having to take a few sips of water and waiting an unbearable quarter of a second for more food, then I think he's got it pretty good and doesn't need much sympathy.
I am not opposed to the idea of giving him water. In fact, I strongly dislike the idea of completely holding off on water during feedings that some parents believe in. After practically every spoonful was what I am talking about. It'll kill his appetite.

@@shaneramlall6481 while yes you are partially right, offering a drink in between bites here and there is helpful but what this woman is doing is absolutely wrong! The biggest problem is she is giving him water. You are not suppose to give a child under 12 months water. They get enough fluid from breast milk/formula. Water is absolutely useless to a child this age as it has absolutely nothing beneficial in it for baby. They need all the nutrition, calories, etc in every food/drink they have as they are growing quickly. Babies have very small stomachs so giving them water like she is just fills their belly giving them the sensation that they're full when they really aren't. It essentially causes them to miss a valuable feeding. Baby is obviously extremely hungry and prefers the baby food over drinking. Mom should have given him more of the food. He may not understand what water is but I'm sure he knows that when he gets that liquid he doesn't feel the way he does when given food or milk. Mom barely fed him any food, maybe she fed him more before she began filming but I find that hard to believe because he wouldn't be so distressed if he had more food to eat than this. Not sure what mom's issue was and why she didn't just get him more food u less she just didn't want him having a lot of it for whatever reason. If that was the case though she should have been giving him milk and not water. This poor child, I feel terrible for him if this is the way she always feeds him. That woukd explain his desperate need of the food. He would always be hungry due to having the useless water. Such a shame that parents don't educate themselves before having a baby as well as during.

@@shaneramlall6481 The baby looks to be about 4-5 months. Any pediatrician will tell you to never try to feed solids (baby oatmeal, puree) to a fussy, hungry baby. These parents aren't following the rules of the professionals. If they were they would have started with a small 2-3 oz bottle of breastmilk or formula to curb the extreme hunger and fussiness, then start spoon feeding so the baby can actually enjoy it, then a little water at the end to sip when she's all done. I do this with my 9 month old and feeding time is always great and fun. This video was annoying beyond levels, these parents clearly lack any basic infant understanding skills.

It's not funny the baby is hungry and the mom is not feeding him enough, the baby can't talk so the only way he can let her know he is hungry is by crying. You need to stop the stupid books, and use your head, our parents did not have books telling them how to do things yet our parents figured it out and did quite well, use your head and not a book and you will be able to to raise a healthy happy child.
