@kali what do you think of the rune walkers collection? Is it worth buying?
Hey mate great series of videos explaining this stuff. Ive got one question, in case i want to sell my minted runes on a marketplace further down the road, the easiest way to do so would be to import the seedphrase of the wallet we generated on the node to Xverse or Unisat and then sell them or buy runes that aren't mintable anymore right?
you would use xverse and trading will be on magic eden most likely
Great videos bro! I do not undestand how this works with a wallet on production! I created, put some BTC on it, etc. I can see in my wallet, via terminal, that I fund it ok. I suppose that with these I could use the mint command and pay the gas fee... but what about the UTXO? How can split them on my local bitcon core wallet?? Or I need to link some Xverse wallet? Any thoughts?
Good question! I explained that in my new video, make sure you check it out, ask again if not clear
wow so technical
yessir
When doing it on mainnet do we have to mint the blocks manually (generatetoaddress) or that step is skipped, if we do do i have to specify always 6 or it depends on something?
you generate blocks on testnet.
great video. still trying to understand. so we are basically looking for projects that will etch runes, and we can mint them for free like we are used to mint nft's on other chains but now we getting coins. there is still a circulating supply right? and we will be fighting a gas war to get those coins? if transaction fail because we get frontrun, money is gone right?
yes and not for free, you need to pay for transaction, there is a certain supply, depends on the deployer, and you fight for it yes and yes if failed money is gone
@@KaliCrypto thanks for the fast answer 🙏 so basically it will be a lot of searching on x, speculating and then praying to win the fight haha will be a fun night :)
@@pxrf-ju2bs exactly it will be an experiment
I get an error about missing RPCUser and RPCPassword when running the bitcoin-cli command to advance by 6 blocks ... do i need to add something to the .conf file?
no need to change anything, never seen that error
I have native segvit btc address, is it must a taproot address for runs?
everything there is on testnet
So only with PC can't participate for runes minting? Not like brc-20?
don't understand fully your question - you can do that on pc, mac, linux - whatever you have
when i try to run the yaml file its giving me this error - etching.terms: missing field 'amount' at line 10 column 4
make sure you have everything correctly as I do and the spacing too
thx for giving so early. and where can get the yaml file that i can copy the code thx again
official github, or just rewrite it
@@KaliCrypto really nice of u budyy, it is a little bit complicate for me....
what can be the return on this ? Is it worth doing ?
mint runes
@@KaliCrypto he's write, it's hard to figure out without many words. In this video you're minting your runes. Why would this have any value? I was wondering we would be using this mint tool to mint some known collections and not our own. How can our collection have any value? If you could clarify, that should be the question for many people.;
and when i create rune memcoin how i can make money and what if i shut down the server what would happen ?
rune stays on bitcoin forever
@@KaliCrypto how to make money with it ?
How much will it cost to get up and going with creating and minting runes?
Depends on the network fees
Can you give me a rough estimate?
Everytime we receive new receive wallet address?
No need, just save the first one
No need, just 1 time
in few words what is BTC runes ?
memecoins
@@KaliCrypto ty G
Do I have to use that specific ᚱ symbol for the yaml file or can it be any symbol?
any symbol
error: rune is less than minimum for next block
weird error, didnt see it before - hard to solve that over the chat without any screenshots, join the ordinals discord I mentioned in my tweet, a lot of devs there will help
I feel there should be an easier way.
yes of course there will be, coming up in next video - but learning the advanced way will make the entire process really easy to understand
Anyone understand what he said?
haha
hackers type of investement 😂😂
hope we cook
