I studied abroad in Rome and it was one of the best experiences of my life
I bet!! 😎
That fake stone part 😂😂 I was like "yeah they are really working in a stone company" hahaha really enjoyed this vlog! Thank you for taking us to these places virtually .
In most of European countries in mandatory to wear seat belts in back sits if car have them. I’m from Poland and you will be fines if you won’t do wear them. Many other countries have exactly same rule. Of course taxis are little bit different way of transport and sometimes drivers use small law gaps to skip the rules (like for example with infant car seats in taxis) but it doesn’t mean that’s general rules
Im so intrigued at the end. HAHAHA those incidents 🤦♀️🤣
Rach ... The effort that goes to the making of this vlog 💥the editing , the bgm and the discription about the historic places... *Chef's* *kiss* !! 😍
Thank you so much 😁
That conversation regarding stones tho🤣
Tipping is actually very common in Europe as is table service in most countries. You tend to see more men waitering in tourist areas as its the main industry 🙂
In Italy tipping is not common though so she is right! Table service is very common though
It’s the same in the Philippines, where in you have to ask for the bill. My family spends at least 2-3 hours restaurants cause we always get carried away by the our conversations! Although, tips are customary here 😊
Your trip looked magical 😍It's so crazy seeing you in some of the places I've been 🤯 and omg that plane story so wild 😂😂
This was so well done - informative and very entertaining! Love seeing AJ's personality shine through. His excitement about the chocolate made me lol. So glad you had an amazing time!!
Thanks so much!
When my brother told me America didnt have electric kettles I thought he was lying... 😂😂😂 but I have a qurstion. What do you use to boil water then? Genuinely curious.
a pot on the stove!
we also dont boil water that often since we dont drink tea a lot, usually its to make pasta haha
That makes sense
Thanks for sharing your trip with us. I wouldn’t be able to survive with all that walking lol. Love this vlog.
haha IDK how I survived!
Thank you for taking us with you on your trip! I’m glad you have a great time!! 😊💕 I lovee watching your videos and I like how you keep it real!
Thank you so much!!
The story telling sesh made me lol so hard😂😂😂
LMAO
I am wondering whether the breakfast thing was more covid related? This seems to be the norm in quite a few hotels now! Sounds like such a great but busy trip!
Yes this is so in my country too!
Yay I am so happy you enjoyed my country! About the backseat seatbelts, they are actually compulsory in Italy. Most people don't wear them but they should! Also, the waiter career thing is not really true, in fancy restaurants that is true but often the waiters are just relatives of the owner. And it's plenty of waitresses, it's a coincidence you haven't met many! Xx
Good to know!
Omg Rachel same haha!! my husband and I will also call any animal we see randomly with our pet's name 😂
Thank you for this vlog Rachel! It is very interesting to follow your experience! It really feels like a friend ☺️ oh and about the buffet at the hotel, that is probably a Covid thing, because here in Europe we also had that traditional buffet breakfast, so dont worry!
Now waiting for your back to work vlogs 😀
Greetings from Portugal!
Thank you!! 😊
Love this 🥺 Lowkey missed AJ in the vlogs tooo
Rachel's editing is getting so point day by day !
The bg music choices are splendid ☺️
Thank you 🙌
Thank you for sharing this amazing trip!! I literally took in every part of the sight seeing like i was limping along w/you, lol… not sure if i’ll make it to Rome in this lifetime but it is truly one place i’d love to visit.
I love this!! Thank you so much🥰
Thank you for sharing this vlog, Rachel :) Italy is absolutely GORGEOUS and I hope that someday I'll have a chance to go there and see all the sights :) Is there anythin else in Italy that you would like to see? Like Milan, some mountain (Alps) areas,..? Do you plan to come back someday? And do you think that a week is enough to fully explore Rome, Venice..?
Such a magical video! I was really looking forward to this one! I had to look at all your old videos to hold me over, LOL! ❤️
Yay! Thank you!
This vlog made me want to visit Italy!
Please do! :)
Was really waiting for this... ❤️need more like this🌟🌟
glad you liked it :)
Another great vlog Rachel! it looks like you guys had an amazing time! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching! We had such a great time
Thanks for always being consistent!
The editing on that intro was so good!! 🔥 I loved this vlog! Now I can’t wait to go to Italy some day.
Looooved your vlog. I think everyone has that feeling with traveling where you kinda have an out of body experience like I’m so far from home. Thank you for sharing
We were in Italy in the beginning of the summer. Did Rome, Florence and Venice too and a few others! Can't pick a favorite, they were all great!
The things you've listed (differences) are pretty much the same in all the mediterranean area (that is south europe and North Africa). Glad you had fun :)
I think tipping is very common in Europe and veeeery expected….you have to give at least 10% of your order and in Italy you also pay for the tablecloth on the table….at least where I have been….and in Germany you have to wear a belt on the back or you get a fine.
Love your videos 😘
Interesting, where do you live?
I am from Romania but I live in Germany and my husband lived in Italy before we met for 8 years 😘😘😘 sending you much love and blessings 🙏🏻
Italy is so gorgeous definitely want to go there one day!!!
Florence room amazing!
I can so relate to the periods of highs/lows during travel! One day I'm practically exhilarated.. and then after a few days I feel lonely? Like I can't connect with the people around me, I dont know the "rules" and I start missing my people from home and familiarity. Wont stop me from travelling though✌
i totally feel this! such mixed emotions
I super love you personally and OMG been waiting for this vlog!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Really enjoyed watching this one and you will always have the best editing skills. We appreciate youuu! 🤍
You're the best!
I’m from Germany and we all wear our seatbelts and they’re seatbelts in the back - in fact, you’re gonna get a ticket if you don’t wear your seatbelt. What kind of Uber was that 😅
omg my favorite part so far is the pizza-making scene, AJ is a pro, who knew?! hahaha also the music & food and vibes in this vlog are just 100/10 *chefs kiss*
haha foreal he needs to make me pasta more often!!!
On another note, I actually live very close to Italy, I’m from Slovenia, which is a small but beautiful country right next to Italy! I also really like your shirt that you were wearing somewhere in the middle of the video! It’s kinda dark with some red print on it. It suits you well I think. ❤️
Yay!! I'm so excited to watch this!
HAHAHA not the condoms :D LOL i love this vlog!! my mom's from Italy and I've never been and this makes me really want to go even more.
You both r so cute! And Italy is just 😍😍. I hate walking, but I would love love love walking there!!
Waiters in restaurants: i think it's because of the fact that in touristic cities , restaurants are always almost full (or reasonably full of people) every day of the week, and this makes the job heavier than the same job made in a rural town, so the employer thinks men can do it with less suffering XD. Coming from a rural town in Tuscany i can say that in my area i see a vast majority of waitresses. Also true what you say about the guaranteed montlhy wage.
this vlog really made me miss Italy! i can relate to buying shot glasses for my mom every time i visit a new place 😂
aw yay! where in Italy did you go?
@@RachelVinn I went to Rome, Florence, Venice, and Bologna! But I wish I did the tours you went to!
Thank you for sharing your trip with us! It was very interesting to see, it looks like you were having fun! I hope you are having a wonderful Thursday ❤️
Thank you! You too!
I love Italy, one of my go-to destinations every time I want to get away, this vlog was amazing to bring up memories
Enjoy your trip with in Italy and happy early Halloween, Rachel! You look so beautiful!❤️❤️🎃🎃
It's a beautiful place. I have finished my work and I want to go out for a walk.
Do you go through the full body scanner at the airport or opt out?
Thanks for sharing your travels and tips with us. Looks like you and AJ had a lot of fun.
thank you!! we had a blast :)
Can you make your next visit to Ethiopia?
The edit on this vlog was so good. I also love the sit down video at the end, it felt like we were talking, like we do with our own friends 🤪
Also, I cannot get over how small the elevator is😂
New sub here…stumble into your vlog when looking for places to visit in Rome which I plan to do when I retire next year….thanks for that insightful city tour; equally enjoy as well how your husband, AJ, enjoy buying souvenirs…. i really was surprised on that epic “incident” on the plane - really, “what”????…
Crazy right?!!!🤨
Okay but I lovee the intro music + edits
thank you!
One of my favorite vlogs yet!! It looked like such a great trip and I loved getting to see more of you and AJ together. All the amazing food throughout this vlog was definitely making me hungry though... Glad you guys had a fun trip and a safe return home!
do you have IG??
You’re editing… The best ever!
Wow, thanks!
I’m so happy you guys had a great time!

Thank you so much!!
So much joy from watchings this italy vlog😍 I've been to Rome and Venice too, and I want there back 'cause food and atmosphere in Italy is so special!!
Also it's very interesting to know about your 1st day at work after vacation, because it seems like a mess all the time - huge amount of e-mails and work😂
My first day back will be up on Monday! 🙂
@@RachelVinn I’ll be waiting 🙈
😂😂 loved the flight stories
The elevator! I think I would get too nervous to get in.
Step game strong on vacay
are we not gonna talk about what just happened at 7:25? Lol
😂
We just went away for 2 days, and we missed our 2 kitties SO much hahaha 😉😘
Hey dii..where are you from??
Your hair looks so good🥰🥰🥰
Thank you so much 😀
I cannot believe you skipped the opera
we were tuckered out
You look gorgeous❤️love u and i really enjoy all ur vlogs😘
It’s a pea coat. It’s cute!
How did you communicate with the people in Italy? For example how did you know the cook said bigger is better
they spoke english really well!
I have been to Rome in 2017, when city was packed and touristy. Standing near the Trevi fountain to throw a coin over my shlouder was unfeasible. But now...the terrible covid did affect tourism.
what time did you arrive at the Pantheon, really want to avoid the line!
In the late afternoon!! Definitely go in the morning
Do you have vlogs from other countries you mentioned in the end?😉🌷
Really love your vlogs! 🥰🥰 And your husband looks like a Filipino . Is he? 🥰
- love from the Philippines 😍❤️
Even in India, everyone (even if you are a citizen ) has to pay and use the toilet.
I been to Italy once love go back see more! Never been to Rome it my next place! Have get over fear of planes 😅 Looked like a wonderful trip!
thank you!! I hope you get over the plane fear because Rome is AMAZING!!
@@RachelVinn Haha ya ill deal with the plane ride oneday figured ill take something make me tired 😅
I wish and hope you visit India someday. The vlog is amazing
Am I the only one who saw George Washington in AJ's cappuccino, and not just a smiley face? #old
lmao
I know this is an old video, but what your agency did you guys go with?
Tour agency
What a beautiful place, I definitely want to visit one day. Love your hair in this vlog. 💗
Thank you so much!
The advertisement whilst you are on holiday made me a little sad 🥺 I feel you never have time to really have a break away from CZcams. However great vlog, really enjoyed it. It’s also just a different culture and different ways of being kind, in Europe it’s quite normal for table service especially with covid it’s safer for them to come to your table and I also LOVE how your husband appreciates good food and shows it the chef would love that there x x
Aw☹️ I want you to know that CZcams never feels like a job to me because I love it so much!!!
I am from India 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳❤❤
Such an interesting vlog :) thanks for sharing!
Would love to know the name of the hotel in Florence. It looked really nice.
Oh snap I forgot to link! Doing that now
@@RachelVinn thank you !!
Done :)
I would have totally tried to call the airline and requested they mail me the print. That’s sad 😞
The seatbelt thing is totally not true! 😄 source: am from Germany and visited italy, Austria etc
this is a message for all you USA people who want to travel internationally.
1.leave your attitude at the departure lounge , it will be there waiting or you when you return.
2. you can not take your gun with you.
3. you are not allowed to carry a gun.
4. you can not by a gun.
5. chose your words wisely, you have no gun.
if you can't do the above, stay where you are.
interesting
The seatbelt thing is not true, in Germany we all wear seatballs on all seats
Next trip Romania 🇷🇴 💜🥰
I likes you n your lifestyle ❤❤
Hi Rachel Vinn how are you doing and i am your biggest fan too and how is Italy 🇮🇹 i live in England 🏴 Have you been to England 🏴 👍😀😀😀🙂🙂🙂🙂

It is very common to see European men/people working as waitors in Europe 👍

AND YOU FORGOT THE PRINT
