@@neji5163 Not really. They can scratch it but so can improper hand wash. Almost every type of wash will scratch your car, no matter how careful you are. New car with perfect paint = careful hand wash.
Old car with workout,cratched and rusty paint = everything is good but still you should be careful if you like the car.
I'd expect the dislikes are the ones who are reminded of the 2 dozen escaped fries, 15 dollars in loose change and potential bacterial nasties that are known to reside under their front seats but are to lazy to do anything about it.

You should be good! All it takes is time and patience and it'll come out fresh!
You've got dis, if you can't work around the clock like he can do it in parts and then remember not to let it get so dirty again if you aren't willing to clean it up, vacuum and give it a spray down once a week at least and extract your carpets every so often you're good to go, i think the spray on iron particle disolver would be best for any novices then going over it with the clay after you've gave your car a foam bath anyone can do that :P most of it you can do really apart from the waxing that looks a bit more tricky but the buffer looks to make it a lot easier for sure.
Like these guys above have mentioned. Just be patient, and thorough. Small areas at a time then you won’t feel overwhelmed. Best of luck and happy detailing.
After watching many vids, ordering all the stuff and starting small, I did my own car. Turned out amazing. It CAN be done if you’re determined and have the right equip.

have you ever tried watching something while sober, if that is the proper term? Im not familiar with a lot about weed and stuff so I apologize. If you have, did it alter your experience? I'm curious, as I know it isnt like acid or anything that crazy.
You need to do a version of these videos with a slightly darkened tint, quieter commentary and calming music. Your videos are so relaxing already, with those little adjustments, they could be prescribed as medicine for people with insomnia. Watching something go from dirty and disgusting to clean and beautiful is so soothing, I love watching these when I'm trying to fall asleep. They're amazingly calming.

Most of the time i laugh cos it's mostly the hickey dudes and their mates who go over to pick it up LOL makes me laugh cos of how a lot of Canadian and Texas men carry themselves like "hey i'm SO macho and big i'm the bees knees" LOL, the dude just washed your car... no offense but that's what i see as an English girl, when the girls pickup the cars they're a lot more nicer and less prideful.

The headlight cleaning was the most satisfying thing I have ever seen in my life. I audibly gasped when he was done
pretty impressive isn't it. nice light sanding with 300/400/1000 grit wet/dry sandpaper with water will do that for you too... takes about a half hour per light though. then you can spray some clear coast from a can on them lightly and they'll stay looking nice for a couple of years.
@@lylestavast7652 I used toothpaste and a toothbrush on my old car's headlights after watching a youtube video and that kinda worked but it didn't last too long.
Dishwashing paste (Jif?) Was also tried at one point and this lasted a little longer but nothing beats the method in the video or what you've just suggested.

Unfortunately, polishers aren't cheap. The Rupes that Mitch uses costs about $430. Then the microfiber cutting pads go for another $20 or so.

Being sort of OCD, I love hearing his voice. Not only is he detailing so thoroughly, but the voice is soothing. I relaxes me. I watch some of his videos one after the other.

I've done a couple of detailing jobs and this channel put my on the next level already. Is amazing what you can do with a drill brush and a vacuum. I'm getting an extractor soon

He recently started using the ozone device and that helps a little with the smell. I would like to he use the device in every car before delivery.
The smell of that thing before must have been hideous, too. Old food, stains of lord knows what, probably a few sacrificed chickens. The after smell would be glorious.

Kinda why he created a second channel. Some stuff from different details are on The Detail Geek 2 just to help the videos be shorter
:-) :-) Was thinking the exact same thing hahahaha!!!! Although he has mentioned before that some of the more encompassing details took some 10-12-14 hours to do, so even a 1-2-hour long video may not do justice to the labor he's putting into these vehicles.
Still, I'd be definitely up for long vids!
