SM always give us bunch of great B sides songs because they want people to buy the albums, not just the title tracks. They've been doing that since Snsd and F(x) era... Their b sides never dissapoints.

I really cannot stress how good RV is at harmonizing. They are probably the best in the industry (I don't really listen to boy groups and I have limited knowledge in girl groups, so best in the industry is heavily biased). The only other groups I can think of in terms of god-like harmony is probably Mamamoo, Oh My Girl, Lovelyz, Fromis_9 (not really harmony, but backing vocals and ad-libs)
You can make a case for RV having the best vocals in the industry. Everyone touts Mamamoo, but I always felt like "power vocal" doesn't translate to better harmonies or conveying the song's meaning. I feel like RV's producers get a lot of enjoyment working with them

I think Red Velvet is best appreciated through their albums as opposed to singles or MVs. If I'm not sold on the single, I know to check out the album, and they never disappoint.

Very vocal heavy (imo very much a Wenjoyri album) but that's just me at 2am. Overall, I'm Day 2> Day 1 but good golly is Day 1 still amazing. What I like about RV is that everytime I hear people reviewing their b-sides, they love it but out of the b-sides they've heard, they would always have that one b-side song that suddenly becomes their jam. And we all know RV is the queen of discography because every song in the album sounds different. 💖😊 (I know that b-sides are always different but RV b-sides are just so different and that's what I like about it 💖)

Sunny Side Up would have been a phenomenal summer comeback. I mean it literally sounds like the beach. Also you’re correct. Bing Bing is BY FAR the greatest song on an album entirely full of bops.

FINALLY. I actually thought you were planning on waiting for Day 3 before you did a listening party lol . ANYWAY. Just who exactly said LP was the best song, fight me right now. Also, I DESERVE a Love is the Way MV set in a 60's diner that switches to a stage with the girls in retro dresses and hairstyles as they sing and dance in front of standing mics. I CAN PICTURE IT PERFECTLY. But I loved both albums too. While Day 1 is totally for Summer, Day 2 is a time machine ride. It takes you to different eras of music from 50's/60's to 90's R&B and even early 2000's pop. Overall, I think they planned this concept perfectly with the amusement park/rollercoaster ride because it really does feel like you're on one.

And from Day two the bridge in Jumpin' was fantastic but Carpool is an anthem to me. Honestly Red Velvet never dissapoints.

The reason why my favorite in day 1 is LP is because it feels like your travelling with someone that you like and never wanting it to end and the ending of the song just really ties it up because the distortion of the last part makes it feel like the day is about to end and so is the fun that you had with that person. It really reminds me of Fool by NCT 127 and Light A Roman Candle by FUN, and I love those songs and this song reflects the same kind of vibe as those songs do and I'm totally in love with it.

When you lowered the mic during Bing Bing so we could see your shocked face LMAO! That reaction was so me as well. That song changed me and it s the best song from the mini for me too. And from Day two the bridge in Jumpin' was fantastic but Carpool is an anthem to me. Honestly Red Velvet never dissapoints.

PD reacting to bing bing is honestly the biggest mood.
The reason why my favorite in day 1 is LP is because it feels like your travelling with someone that you like and never wanting it to end and the ending of the song just really ties it up because the distortion of the last part makes it feel like the day is about to end and so is the fun that you had with that person. It really reminds me of Fool by NCT 127 and Light A Roman Candle by FUN, and I love those songs and this song reflects the same kind of vibe as those songs do and I'm totally in love with it.
