That highest mountain in Coruscant scene is pretty interesting.
Makes sense no one's allowed to touch it considering the population. There are bronze status worn down to a smooth sheet due to tourists touching them. I hope that location is very deep in Coruscant, because a true Ecumenopolis is not just a few kilometers above the sea level.

Man, I love it when a good episode has me napping for 40 minutes so I could be refreshed for the moment where the interesting characters of the show return to the screen
So Qui-Gon has ghost pringles? Does this mean ghost food exists, and so do ghost shops, ghost supermarkets, and ghost brands of every kind? Are they made by ghosts in ghost factories and delivered by ghost delivery drivers? Did Qui-Gon have to go to the ghost convenience store to buy them? This opens up a whole lot of questions about the lore of the ghost world. Where do they buy their ghost clothes? Did their robes die with them? But Anakin wasn't wearing his when he died.
Wait. Obi-Wan bought ghost chocolates for mother's day? Or did he buy regular chocolates, and then Qui-Gon somehow converted them to ghost chocolates? Did he kill the box of chocolates?
You never know what you're gonna get...
In one of these videos Obi gets pizza and it's half ghost pizza.
Wait is Grogu joining the show! The comedy potential of having him and Anakin in a room with eachother is priceless.

I didn't think this episode was all that bad. It gives us a glimpse of the wider galaxy outside of our small little bubble focusing on Mando. It was also kinda interesting with a bit of the dystopian disguised as a utopian setting with some spy-work/secrecy/conspiracy mixed in.
I get that not everyone likes world-building and prefer to just focus on one character or all the action, but episodes like this are important for making the setting more alive.
Agreed, I was actually surprised people hated it as much as they did. It’s definitely a change of pace but it was welcome to me
I liked it but the betrayal was so obvious from the start, it ruined the episode for me
I would definitely watch a star wars show focusing on stuff like this. Taken in isolation it wasnt bad, but sticking it in the middle of this show completely unexpectedly just threw me off.
Honestly was so close to just fastforwarding the post empire officers. So boring and one dimensional.
Alex, I love world building, and I'm an empire fan boy through and through, but that episode was boring AF and doesn't make any sense.
The New Republic would never have given that lady the ability to fry his brain is the biggest one, the informant doesn't get to sit in the control room with no oversight when she's from the same Imperial ship as the accused.
They could have skipped that whole plot device and literally just shown us The Doctor dealing with the bureaucracy of the New Republic, getting his forms approved, and then being punished by a different wing of the Republic because it still technically broke the law.
All of that said, it was tragic and I really feel sorry for the Doctor, though I have a feeling we weren't supposed to.
Really don't know how this channel doesn't have a million subs yet!!

I like how ordinary the start of the episode is. Ofcourse there's just normal people in Star Wars going about their day. Im not sure about office cubicles being universal though.

This episode was weird. I actually thought that I had bumped the controller and started something else or a different episode. It just suddenly jumped from Mando and Bo to the Senate chamber.
I really liked the episode. I also like how it gave a new perspective on events.

Bottom five at least. It was a great episode of whatever show it was trying to be, but sadly not an actual Mandalorian episode
Just think if all those criminal elements on the lower levels on corusant knew they just had to join the empire to get a nice domicile in a sparsely populated area.
Also that poor scientist, gives a speech on his research to the Senate, thinks his getting a new research position only to be asked can you use excel?

Also, love the tiny detail of Obi mumbling lines to himself in the overlay as he’s watching scenes. It’s these little things that take it to the next level.
Glad to see Anakin survived his little accident last week, though maybe we should check for concussion. I’m still not sure if he’s all “there.”

@Matthew Short Have you seen the whole season? How do you know it will have ANY relevance to the actual Mandalorian? The character of Pershing has mainly served to justify Palpatines return so far in the Mandalorian.
Thank you! Pershing's arc here was at least twenty minutes too long. It belonged in another show bedsides the Mandalorian.
