It is hilarious to me that the Genshin community was screaming because "we only get 3 wishes?!?!". And then Hoyo puts out a banner where the 4-star characters need multiple constellations to be worthwhile at all. Ahhhhh, I'm dying.
Well except nahida, idk about yae but yeah.. the 4 stars reallllyyyy need constellations though ;v; and xianyun probably doesnt need cons to be good, though not sure yet about that but obviously they’re 5 stars so they’re just good by default..

@@Squashua2727 *Looks at Twitter* Oh my. The only time I ever used Ninnguang was early in the game when I was exploring Liyue and needed to use a Geo char for those geo statues you have to activate. It's a darn shame on how bad Ninnguang is considering how important she is to the main story. Gees the moves she used in the 2 quests look epic!

Now that we know all 4 banners, this Lantern Rite is just sad honestly.
I honestly think it’s the worst one so far. The rewards are actual hot garbage, Xianyun is just a Jean sidegrade at best, and Gaming’s design was butchered, compared to the original leaked version of Lion Boy. No excitement to be found whatsoever.
@@vladdyru lmao if you wanna hate something, be smart about it. Xian Yun made Plunge attack relevant again, and the first time in forever probably a DPS character can do plunge with constant DPS on Spiral abyss.

A niche standard banner character / Bennett sidegrade that enables meme teams like Plunge Tao or Dragonstrike Diluc, and a four star DPS that wouldn’t be anything special without god-tier investment that could make any five star reach 6-digit team DPS numbers. If you got baited by TGS and his overhyped calculations, just say that out loud, nobody would laugh at you. Well, can’t guarantee that, to be honest.

I don't like how they make noelle's shield uptime isn't near 100%, it's like what they do to barbara by making her perma wet. It's just artificial handicap.

Noelle's shield uptime *is* near 100%, tho'.
You just have to use her in the role she's designed for, which is as an on-field carry/driver. If you want a pure shield bot, Zhongli (and to some extent Layla) exists.
@@ZeroStrife1396I use Noelle c6 (def/def/CR - fav great) with furina, her shield is strong, but your definition of near is not the same as my definition. It's too far from 100%.

I was looking forward for the 4* on this banner but after looking at it I did a few pulls on the Raiden banner last minute. If not for Nahida I would have skipped this version.

@@Primordial_Dark Exactly. A level 60 Noelle with level 3 talents and random or bad artifacts with sucrose, not actual supports, is only good til ar45. I have a level 90 Noelle with redhorn and triple crown with amazing husk set, and she does like only 50k each swing with only bennett. That's trash tbh i regret building her. I gave up on her and now am building burgeon hu tao

I was rlly hoping for YaoYao,Yanfei and Heizhou to be on these banners,i was rlly hoping for Yao Yao to be on Nahida's banner but she's in the second phase on Xiao and Yea Miko's banners,but it's fine,as long as i can Nahida,Gaming and Faruzan than I'll just pick Yao Yao from the lantern rite event,since i don't have her yet 😭

Im really torn on if I want to wish for Nahida or Xiao.
Cyno and Tighnari are my most well-built characters, and I’m hoping to get Xingqiu and build him.
I know that Nahida would be the best functionally, but I adore Xiao as a character.
Go for the character you like the most. I have been slowly building my Xiao. Can’t wait to get Xianyun and C6 Faruzan
You can pick who you want, but Xiao requires a LOT to get going. C6 faruzan is almost required for him, especially if you don't have furina or now xianyun. Expect low dmg if you don't have his supports.
Meanwhile Nahida buffs both cyno or tighnari (although with cyno mainly against bosses and not vs multi wave content)

But I love my Sumeru boys, and I think Nahida is the wiser choice, that way I can build good teams for them.

I am very happy about these banners. I've been trying to get c6 Noelle for a while but i'm still stuck at c4 and i'd love to get Faruzan to c6 as well, but i'm only c2 for her so not likely and of course i want at least one copy of Gaming. So, since i was going to pull for Xianyun anyway, these are the best 4-stars i could ask for.

C4 Yanfei and C4 Beidou gives you a shield too! (I think), also Layla is great if you have any of these characters or get them eventually :))

I pulled wanderer in 3.8 but haven't built a team for him yet as my faruzan is still c0. and i plan to pull for furina on her rerun so more noelle cons would be nice(currently c2). I hope a SharkH3art analysis of Yae Miko, Xiao, Yaoyao, Ningguang and (oh the irony) Xianyan soon .❤ About Nahida, I know you don't want to go for Nahida c1, but for anyone who have c0 Nahida., the first constellation of Nahida is pretty good, making her burst more useful, because instead of having 2 hydro, pyros or electros , you only need 1 for teh extra effect.

C1 is also good for Noelle, as it removes the 50% chance of healing. Without that con, she's even more lackluster for new players, as that constellation doubles her healing output.
The only reason i would want xianyun is for raiden plunge atks. But vape or melt dragonstrike diluc might be a thing now.
The 4* for Xiao is Xynian, Ninguang and YaoYao.

I’m a new player and I am skipping nahida until I have mire variety in my roster, hoping to go for her on her next rerun.
I am pulling for xianyun because she is one of my favorite characters and she would add a lot of value to my furina, who was my first five star. I also don’t have Jean.
I’m pulling on The weapon banner, if I lose 50/50 to nahida’s weapon it wouldn’t hurt me since I do want to get nahida eventually. To me the weapon banner is kinda perfect.

Wearer (Xianyun) gets 2.5 energy when someone plunges during 20 sec buff. It's a good support weapon but only for her. But until they change how weapon banner works it's not good idea to roll on any of them.
I do have C6 faruzan so i hope to get gaming that way i can choose somebody else at lanter rite event

Im close to a 50/50, so I think my plan is to go for Nahida c1. If I do, I might try for c2. Of I lose, I'm going to save my guarantee for chiori or Nilou. I like Noelle and Faruzan, so it all works well. Though I could just c1 Nahida or 50/50 and save for a better banner. Decisions!

Not really? She’s still a four star DPS, her best team DPS with Furina hovers around 50k - that’s not that high. Same team, but with Hu Tao as an on-fielder reaches 80k.
@vladdyru Yeah but Noelle can do 50k in aoe vs hu tao's mostly single target dmg. Noelle also gets a shield while hu tao has stamina issues (pre c1), is risky stuck at half hp, and requires lots of precise imputs. Hu tao is more dmg, but trades off so much comfort and aoe to get it.
I don't know if i am going to pull, well I don't have any wish to do pulls anyway but i really want xianyun though also my luck is not on my side at all, on Raiden banner i just want one Kujou Sara, only One, but i failed to get her, also i never win 50/50 ever so its very unlikely for me to get Xianyun but oh well, I'll try to pull anyway even if a lose 50/50 I'll save up until the next character banner i want comes around

Im getting alot of ppl debating if they want xiao because his fun or Nahida in simple worlds only go for xiao if u have a shit ton of primos or supports because hes a very high investment character but can be absolutely busted if u put enough in him while Nahida is cracked without much investment
I like Faruzan's kit and might be interested in a Xiao squad down the road. I'm at C3 Faru. Is it worth trying to get Xianyun + Faru C6? I'm honestly leaning no, even though the Xiao team + artifacts situation is looking less awful than ever before. I've got enough other potential teams in the wings that need work.
I'm guaranteed to get Nahida so I'm excited to spend some primogems!
I will say this, my strongest Furina team, for now, has Noelle in it and I run it with Zhongli in the group too. Zhongli, Furina, Kokomi, Noelle. Beats my Furina, Kokomi, Nahida, Bennett team. I don't know why except that it must be the Marechaussee Hunter set that makes such a huge difference.

you know the psychology of the weapon banner right? so I'm sure even if they wish for nahihi signature weapon, they would get the other one.
I sincerley diagree with what you said about Noelle, if you have Furina she is genunly one of the best 4* carry/healer. Her cons are very valubes as well, C1 make her healing constant under the Burst, her C2 on high investment make the twirly-twirly gamplay better, her C3 give her shield more buffness and more healing, her C4 arguable the worst one, is still give you a pretty big end-loaded burst damage, her C5 is very good and her C6 is the best cons for her. (If you have C6 if you swap out bfeore her burst coldown go to zero and wait a little and swap back you gain the maximum extra time from the burst extension)
It is true thet you need high ivnestment, but she is a good driver and a good healer, and have a very good AoE as well. She is a good character. + You can build her on Petra and go for a Noelle/Furina/Yelan/Kazuha team where you maximise Furina and Yelan personal damage instead. It is better in single target.
It’s disingenuous to call her one of the best healers, no sane person would use her as an actual healer, she has no off-field healing, and normal attacking or spinning on her would tank your team DPS hard if you don’t build your team around her in the first place. As for her main DPS potential - just check out gcsim, man. She’s still an underdog even with Furina, her upper team DPS ceiling is somewhere in between 45 and 55k. With the amount of investment she requires, that’s just bad. Even C0 Raiden with the Catch outperforms her hard in basically the same setup, not even mentioning Hu Tao Furina teams which reach 80k.
@@vladdyru I meant on-field healer and I said with Furina. (We have limited amount teamwide healer and the only other on-field healer optuions are Kokomi (5*) and C6 Dori. But I guess I was not clear enough, sorry if I missfuided someone.
On the other topic. Her damage is AoE so compereing her to Hu Tao is not really mean a lot because Hu Tao is stricly single target except if you have luck with positioning. In case of Raiden better arguement because she have AoE and front-load, but her C0 teams where she is a damage dealers are limited or mostly based on single target like National.
And I used your point and looked up teams, this is what I found:

Noelle (Petra, Spine)/Furina/Yelan/Navia (Mega Sword): Damage per target: 59,243.65
Noelle (Hunter, Spine)/Furina/Yelan/Zhongli: Damage per Target: 55,573.28
Raiden (Catch)/Kujou/Bennet/Kazuha: Damage per target: 46,670.40
Raiden (Gladiator)/Furina/Bennet/Kazuha: Damage per target: 57,371.33
Raiden(Catch)/Yelan/Bennet/Kazuha:
Damage per target: 52,154.76
Raiden (Gladiator)/Xiangling (C6, Gladiator)/Bennet (C6)/Chevreuse (C6!!!): Damage per target: 62,119.45
Raiden (Gladator)/Furina/Xiangling(C6)/Bennet(C6): Damage per target: 61,192.26
Raiden (Hunter, Catch)/Furina/Yelan/Jean:
Damage per target: 68,563.00
As you can see most teams damage is lower or on par with the Navia-Noelle variant, the only two team who is outperforms it with big differences is the C6 Chevreuse team and the ultra premium double hydro Jean variant. It was interesting to look them up so thank you for the advice.

I have got a C2 Faruzan while wishing, and I just.. 💀
Not going to lie. I use Noelle to farm crystals and iron chunks. She breaks them off faster than my others 4-5 hits and it's ready to pick up. Haha
I think people sleep on Noelle and I actually think your take on her is pretty wrong as well.
I have a lvl 90 Noelle, I am AR 57 and she is my main team healer/shielder. Yes, she cannot keep her shield up as long as the cool down of the shield BUT her shield never breaks early. Her heals are pretty strong as well, even if she only heals on a 50% chance. The way I play her is at start of battle put on shield, switch to my other chars (usually Nahida, Xinqiu and Keqin. Keqin being my main DPS) and when taken substantial damage/after shield CD switch back to Noelle, pop shield, heal team up if needed, do char switch rotation. So all in all she doesn't need much field time to work 100% fine. I also have Zhongli and like her better than the Geo Lord.
Maybe I am just a scrub who doesn't know any better, but I love her :P Noelle For Life ;)
This banner makes me so sad, I’ve been saving for Nahida for so long and now all the 4 stars are useless for me, and worse useless for Nahida.

Attacker? You mean main DPS? None of them truly are. Nahida is the closest one to an on-fielder in her double hydro hyperbloom team, but it feels terrible to play, all you’re doing is applying dendro and hydro with her normals, the game basically plays itself. Xiao is an actual main DPS, but he needs so much investment that he’s pretty much not viable in any content except for the two minute combat events with baby difficulty. Yae and Xianyun are just E Q quickswap characters. If I were you, I would probably just skip for Arlecchino and Clorinde.

None of them truly work with Kazuha, not even Yae, as she doesn’t really need him in her aggravate teams. You should probably skip for Clorinde, she’s rumoured to be an electro-charged focused character, that’s perfect for Kazuha.

Not only is the QoL bad, not only are the celebration rewards bad, but even the character banners are also terrible. The weapon banner is really bad too considering 1 of the 5-stars is effectively a dud when there is barely any character that can use Xianyun's weapon outside of Xianyun herself.

How is it good? It’s good for two super niche demographics - Xiao mains who already have him & want to vertically invest in his supports, and future Gaming enjoyers, that’s basically it. Noelle isn’t even that good, and most geo mains don’t need a niche anemo support or a dendro character that can’t even interact with geo, while Nahida doesn’t have a single support on this banner.

Always confuses me when people are like 'this character needs c6, its better then the c0.' Yeah no shit, any character is better at c6 compared to their c0. Personally I have Faruzan at c0, with the Sumeru fishing bow. And haven't really had major issues. Call it cope if you want, but i disagree c6 is a requirement for her. Or anyone for that matter

Faruzan’s there because it was originally intended for Xianyun to be featured on a double anemo banner with Xiao, but they probably got too scared that the banner wouldn’t sell well, and scratched that idea. No clue why Noelle is there though, she’s not even in the event. Some Hoyo intern probably made a mistake while inputting the code.

Shhhhh C6 Noelle is the Goat, C0-C2 Noelle carried me through the whole early game, stop with the noelle hate, you streamers all hate her, none of you ACTUALLY BUILD her "ohhhhh but she takes so many resources....." yeah, so does every other character thats not using dendro reactions....noelle is just as good as book worm and guoba, she was BETTER than Zhong Li before the buffs. one of her BiS weapons is craftable, geo resonance is the best and shes arguably one of the biggest benefactors from furina teams, Not to mention with Chiori coming out soon Geo is gonna be eating good... If you like noelle dont let these streamers fool you shes 250% better than most 4 stars, she can be your main healer, driver, and shield bot, stick her with a couple off field dps n supports n watch her work.

Kazuha is a summer boy so 4.7 or 4.8. For early game get nahida she and kazuha on same level
I don't think we can know for certain when, but from past reruns it's been during summer june/july so in 4.7 or 4.8.
Might be 4.5 with chiori if they change the summer release schedule
