- Sorry I get a bit long winded when talking about Dayton Wire Wheels, also was so happy with a cleaner I picked up from Shortys Hydraulics I made a little video.

Nice video! I've loved Dayton’s since I was little, I’m near 30 now and still love wire wheels. I don't see them very often on cars these days sadly, not like as in the 90's. Always wanted some D’s but sadly just too much money, really wanted gold, but they are all nice. I finally snagged a set of chrome 100 spoke legit Dayton’s for dirt cheap on craigslist, but a little rusty and need an acid bath. One tire is leaking at the tire bead and need to dismount the tire on that one to clean up the rust / reseal, but easy to do. They should look good after cleaning, and since the spokes are stainless their still near perfect, the hubs look good too, mainly rust on the dish and nipples. If they end up being badly pitted I will paint them to match my Lincoln Town Car. Nothing like Dayton Wire Wheels :-)… Will look great on my Lincoln, just happy I finally got some D's… Nice video though man!

Awesome video. A big tell for me, is Dayton Spokes "slightly taper" to a thinner diameter from the hub to the Rim. All Chinas have an abrupt step down. 👌🏽

Thanks for the dope video man. I got the same 20" D's, had got them around 2005. My gold has faded in spots on a few spokes but they still shine tight. I'll have to order some of that cleaner from Shortys. Will tell em your name when I do! Keep rollin'! :D

Those are still cheesy bro! Still look good. My uncle has some triple golds about the same age and he takes good care of them and the gold still looks like it faded more than those. Maybe the gold dishes just shine a lil better. Nice find!

You can also tell by the spokes. Dayton spokes go fat to skinny smooth. Chinas go fat to skinny with a lump

I have the only set of all gold 13-7 25th anniversary all gold Dayton Wire Wheels. The only set in the world everything on them as engraved 25th anniversary. There's other 25th anniversary sets out there but as far as the 13-7 all gold I'm the only one in the world

Need a 100 spokes man to many spaces gaps in between those spokes plus knock off way to big and there gold. they need to be chrome with the two bar spinner that's what I like.To each its own there all wire wheels at the end of the day they look. The same lol

Chevy Trucksrock I actually had the gold 20s on my 13 silverado with vogues for a bit but it was too flashy for a daily for me - one thing i can tell u though is to go with otd daytons because these were a total pain to get on
had to run a spacer, and also had to cut the wheel studs down to make them fit
Otd daytons are made for bigger trucks and burbans and would eliminate all the bs and go right on

+FUNKA CHEW they are in very good shape they look brand new they were very well taken care of both sets are wrapped in 5.20 premium's if I do decide to sell I would probably start out asking for 3800 and work from there.my wife has zeniths on her impala also but she has a caddy being built and might want the 88 spokes for it and we have a 76 caprice drop top that me and my wife are doing together and I might throw the 100 spokes on that I have to see what's up becouse I'm a zenith guy but I will let you know in a couple months man

If you have to look that hard to find out if something has a name stamped on it, you might as well save a few thousand dollars by buying the one's without the stamp😂 got to think smart to save money and not follow the crowd because the crowd doesn't pay your bills👍👍👍

Real gold dayton are not dull looking. They shine like their chrome version. Also Daytona are not cheap.

Never had a set but with crowns, roadsters, daytons they almost always havethe size & dot approved on the rim ( but its on the outside of the dish where the tire would cover it)

i scored both of these sets off craigslist, drove 3 hrs each way for the 13s and a lot of times they weren't advertised as daytons, usually people that advertise them as daytons are asking more than my price range

Zeniths are nice and I want a set....but daytons are the OG king off the streets..zeniths had to make locking knock offs cause they rims kept flying off..they weren't even aloud to ship out of state for that reason..daytons never had any problems...but zeniths so look nice when they are engraved..
