    Totally agree with everything you’ve said. Very disappointing. Can’t get the app working either. Light has never come on.

      Can you tell me at the seed papers? Nobody from Tregren are replying to me. Do you leave the seed papers in place? I’ve tried removing them but the seeds are staying stuck on the paper. Thanks.

      i got rid of the thing after making this video, so kant really help you with the papers. But from what i remember i left the paper in place

      Happened to me as well. Then by accident I moved the arm holding the lamp at a certain angle and the light came on for a moment. After that I investigated and realized that the contacts on the lower part of the arm were too short and did not connect at the bottom. So then I tried to pull the contacts out a bit, but couldn't really reach them with anything with enough grip, Than I realized that you can push out the whole plastic insert from the aluminium tube (the button like white knob on the aluminium arm has to be pressed in to allow the whole thing to move!). Than I could use my pliers to pull out the contacts and then push everything back. Now the light works.
      I too first tried the seed papers. Didn't work, got all moldy. Did initially start to sprout but then went nowhere. Most likely related to the light not working, but could have been my touching it too much...

    Thank you for your review, my 3 T12 pots are arriving tomorrow, so I'll know what to expect. Kickstarter is a risk for sure!!

      yeah its always a bit of a gamble and its especially worrying when a product is barely off the drawingboard and they are running into all kinds of production issues that should have been sorted before going to kickstarter.
      The product itself does work i suppose so thats good. and like i said, the interaction with the hardware once the plants are in, is minimal. But the whole experiences had a lot left to be desired, just not finished allround.

      yep good call. You can even supercharge regular pots with some LED's and yre good to go

    I was one of the earliest Kickstart backers but haven't unpacked the T12 until today. Mine was as dirty as I noticed yours were, as well as being dented. But I never experienced the earlier versions of the app so I can't speak to that. App seems to work now, but I only tried two programs. One default and then later my own. Seems to work.

    I received mine today, I also backed on kickstarter and I'm only receiving it now. It came used and with parts missing. It also had insects in it. Which have now infested my home. Not happy at all.

      mine was used too, sand and bugs indeed. Quite the disaster of a product launch eh!? i actually didnt buy the ikea version caise i was waiting for this :(

      yeah the product as it was at time of filming was just unfinished allround. Maybe a version 2.0 would be worth considering. IKEA has a nice system that you can look into

    hello I have a lot of question for you because i had a tregren for christmas and i would if it's normal the light stay off all the days? it is because it's seeds

      The only reason i can think of is that it is already light enough during the day. But other than that i have no idea, maybe reset the system?

    How did you connect with the app?? My app says no new gardens found.... Very disappointing...

      its been a while i dont remember to be honest. Could even be that the app wasnt working fully yet when i got this unit

      @Zuzana Torbiková Did you get it to work? You need to put "location" on from your phone. I had also problems with connecting my T12. That shoud help though. 🙂

      @@ollileppisaari5037 I wrote the message for the support team from Tregreen company. They responded fast and sent me a new pump and controller card. It's perfectly working now.

      Did you get it to work i bought today from eBay but wont connect to app
