My biggest thing with this game is my single player didn’t carryover to online. I didn’t play online till after I beat the game and I feel like I wasted so much time. Now seeing how you have to make money and unlock everything it’s just so annoying. But the game doesn’t really seem to get boring to me.
uh i read an artical or i think on reddit i cant remember where... but... the cars you earn from winning pink slip races or whatever its called is carryed over.
Why would you think the offline campaign would carry over. We got very lucky they gave us all the cars 😂. It’s way easier to make money in the campaign therefor it wouldn’t be fair for it to carry over.

The link ups are easily the best method right now, and it's not even close. And no, you don't even need an S or S+ car for them. I've been doing them in an A+ Lancer spec'd for a balance between offroad/road and neutral drift/grip. I have zero issue contributing the challenges and escaping the cops is extremely easy going offroad and over jumps and whatnot. The time commitment to payout ratio for them is great.
My issue with them though is that EVERYONE in almost every lobby I've been in has been doing them because they're such an easy way to grind, meaning that the race/drift playlists have been absolutely barren. No one want to join an invite, or at best you might get 1 or 2 other players to join. This game really needs a dedicated event matchmaking system like Forza 5, because this open-world lobby stuff is only going to devalue the playlists more and more if it keeps going like this, especially with how garbage the payouts for some of the events can be. I've only been playing the online for like a day or so and I already feel like there's very little to do with how skewed this feels.
dont worry we all feel this with the link ups! It's painful to get a race going as everyone is just doing that activity 😭 I get why ofc, but surely people want to change up what they do? No way i could just sit and grind link ups all day every day...
For sure with the cars to use. I recommend going with the S class skyline, but it's best to use whatever you're most comfortable with!
Same with the matchmaking, most of the community would agree on that. Something like what we had in NFS 2015 with online free roam, then speedlists for those that want to race. Would be so much better

Until I have my top 10 cars on S+ Plus a good car for each class (B, A, A+, S, S+) I can play an MMORPG right away.^^
EA should have let us take what we got in story mode into multiplayer. So needless to force us to start over.
With the skyline first maltyplayer I did 2 linke ups and got a way from heat 5 cops very easy
