Devo was always way ahead of their time.
Most people saw them as just a novelty act, but they were much deeper than that.
they had a ton of talent
Without their influence as part of the vison that is music, they impacted so many people by their way of being artistic. One can only understand them more with time, like the opposite of a one hit wonder.
So glad to feel that again.

Jerry is still in great shape they tore it up a few weeks ago at Punk Rock bowling in Vegas. They even played a few from Oh No It's Devo, my personal favorite Devo album. If the Spud fits, wear it!

My daily jam, absolutely love this song. Always loved Devo back in the day up to now. This song is one of Gerald's all time best. Finally, a new song by an artist that knows how to write hooks. Bravo! And the whole album is fantastic.
The more i hear and watch this the more it reminds me of 70's -80's Devo..Awesome..
The masters of electronic, pop, synth, rock music. The first time I saw them on tv was on HBO 2 years before MTV came to live in 1981.
Holy crap I have watched this so many times. So infectious! I might like this more than any DEVO track and that's saying a lot as I am a huge lifelong fan. It's so unique but has the DEVO DNA. Bartek's riffs are so innovative and fit so well. Perfection!

Did not expect to be getting a new Devo video in 2021. Still one of my favorite bands!
Hopefully one day DEVO will receive the Kennedy Awards and The Grammys and The Lifetime Achievement awards, and be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

I love this Video and Song so much! Just like Devo's music has always been "Ear Candy" to me, this Video is "Eye Candy". The visuals are so creative, colorful, spooky, techie, artful and powerful.. If you watch this video at a slower speed it makes it much more menacing along with the intimating lyrics.. Wow Jerry, you still know how to get to the core and release the energy!!!!! Such unique Bartek guitar sounds and Josh's drums are just a blast to play along with! Thank you Jerry for giving a 40 year fan more of what I crave from the only band/artist that can give it!!

I’ll never forget seeing you for the first time on Saturday night live in 1978. You performed Satisfaction. I was 18. I jumped on the phone and called my best friend, you gotta see these guys on the TV!! Turn it on! Too bad we have to get old and pass on. Whip It and Workin’ in a Coal Mine are my favorites. They don’t make em like DEVO anymore that’s for sure.

Huboon Stomp is the best song I have heard in a long time, right after this one. Gerald can say all he wants that Devo is the house band on the Titanic. All I know is, this stuff rules.

@@Mucving Dude, Myers left the band in 1986. They still made albums after he left. Yeah, he was their core drummer in the early 80s, but he wasn't even their first. I love Myers as much as anyone, but the idea that DEVO was dead after Myers left is just not realistic.
@@mattlufcy1254 Alan's drumming and time signatures made live performances and the early albums for me. Outphasing him with Fairlight synth drums was a mistake. From Shout on the songs feel schematic and largely dull. If you like them, good for you.
