- In this video I try beating Terraria using magic weapons only but here's the twist... I installed a mod that allows my weapons to gain experience for hitting enemies. With each level increases the damage, critical strike chance, size, attack speed, and the best part, additional projectiles. Things are about to get insane so stay tuned to find out!

The nettle burst is actually the second upgrade from the vile thorn. It’s after the crystal vile shard

I love this series bc you can do this exact video again, except with different weapons. Duke fishron weapons or dungeon weapons, etc.

I love that the crystal shard thing is the upgrade of the vilethorn and the nettle burst is the upgrade of that there should be a weapon that combines all three of them with luminite bars

I've become quite fond of the Aqua Scepter (Dungeon weapon) recently, with its recent buff its pretty good for crowd control, I find. I was hoping to see it used here
Im glad you used the toxic flask because some of the weapons people dont normally get can be super good, like the crystal serpent, spirit flame, charged blaster cannon, or magnet sphere
im loving this series. do you ever plan to try this with the calamity mod?
I’m kinda sad we didn’t get to see the magic missile or the flame lash. I think the piercing would have done really well with the increased damage.
rainbow rod is a hallowed vesion of both and it have 3 pierce and wont explode on walls as long as you hold it down

okay that Toxic Flask is actually absurd
I've played Signature Equipment mod inside out - Last Prism DO get additional rays, but they are always firing inside the main beam even on lvl 100 with additional projectile settings on 2.5 mult 25, so it's will be always looks like there is only one beam, but theres actually more of them according to your mod settings.

You probably didn't know, but if you wear the Magic hat and wear it with the Diamond Robe, you get a HUGE amount of mp, which combined with other accessiories that grant MP would grant you over 500.

The stick your weapons mod paired with the signature equipment mod is crazy however
sticking your weapons together makes them all shoot at the same time every swing just make sure non of the weapons have -9% speed on them

I really want you to do it with the prism weapon you get post moon lord, like i get that's really op but maybe the challenge is that you start with it, it has -95% base damage, and that's the only weapon you can use trough the run
Maybe slowly removing the penalty each boss felled, I'm just curious how it would look by the end with enormous levels of multishot

Ever heard of Noita? I found a mod that allows Noita wandmaking in Terraria called Noitaria.
My computer, and the Superboss, died due to the too many boolets shotgun wand I made.
People often install Noitaria together with Signature Equipment

Necro. If you use the signature mod and GitGud’s damage modifier, and set the modifier to a high number, the weapon becomes INSANE after one kill.

Oh yeah Vilethorn is amazing even unbuffed, no wonder it skyrockets when you increase the damage it deals a gazillion times per second, even if by a bit.
The first orb/heart you destroy in a world always gives the gun weapon so only had 1 chance before eater

I was thinking while i was binging a bunch of your videos, based on the purple crystals you are getting from the mod, you have Magic storage i think? Magic storage makes a lot of the crafting easier and you can make an insta hellevator.
Yes I agree but i'm so used to just putting everything into individual chests so it's pretty hard for me to break out of that habit haha.
@@Necr0_ ahh trust me, once you start using it more and more, you will never want to go back 😆 You can even swap things from corruption/crimson inside the storage. but yeah i feel you, it's hard to break out the habit. Me for example, i start every single of my worlds as a summoner and don't really use another class, i'm trying to use other classes as well. 😆 Keep up the good work mate ❤

While using the multi hitting piercing weapons was OPTIMAL, I would have personally preferred to see some of the much less optimal weapons being used so we could see their potential.
I really wish he got the magnet sphere and leveled up the last prism just to see

Idk if many people know but you can avoid the rock ball of dead man chest by opening and closing multiple times. So like you can mine the bombs and spam the chest to be faster

Feels like the mod breaks s of the weapons, which is why piercing things like Nettle Burst, Toxic Flask, and Nebula Arcanum are just so much stronger
This is true. He previously had problems with the fact that additional projectiles, the most spectacular part of the mod, did not cause damage along with other projectiles, so in the config I added a setting related to invulnerability frames and recommended that he make a cooldown of dealing damage 10 frames, with each the projectile has its own invulnerability, now all projectiles cause damage, but some weapons have become incredibly strong. However, for this type of content it is only better for him

I think the reason the Nettle Burst and Toxic Flask did so well isn't JUST their piercing ability. It's because they ignore some Defense. At least the Nettle Burst does. I'm not sure on the Toxic Flask, but I'd assume so.

@@clone7825 I mean, yeah, but the fact it ignores defence probably helps out.
@@HexanTronic barely, ignoring 10 defense is a ≈15% damage boost for the nettle burst, and the flask doesn’t ignore defense at all
