    I told my Dad to lay off of those Viceroy cigarettes in the 70’s! RIP dad, you quit smoking for 20 years, but that wasn’t enough! RIP, I miss and love you, take care of mom in heaven. You fought this cancer monster as long as you could, but God took you.

    Being a 80 pk yr smoker I expect I'll have lung cancer. I wish wet biopsy (sputum) testing had started 30 yrs ago but at least we now have lung cancer ct screening. This presentation is very well thought out and easy to understand. All 8th graders should be made to watch this and then again in high school. Thank you for doing this at least

    Thank you for explaining all this. Of all the videos I've seen of lung Cancer... This was by far the' best, in my eyes. I actually understood and now know why my loved one is how he is and what realistically can happen next. I need to understand this. Hate cancer so much, but it helps me to understand and prepare mentally and explain to others. Thank you!

    Thank you for keeping your explanation as close to lay terms as possible, often the prospective cancer patient might tend to get lost in the technical mumbo-jumbo offered by the attending medical consultant, and the added mental anguish and anxiety that often accompanies a diagnosis of lung cancer.

    My sister 8 days ago died from small cell lung cancer but I'm not sure if the doctor has done it right because I wasn't there in Florida I'm in North Carolina what happened was she said that she they found a mass on her lung and she had to have a surgery to remove it but I thought that if you had cancer that you're not supposed to be up that because if you're opened up a cancer can spread if that was the case why did they do that well they went ahead and did the surgery and when they did the surgery remove the mass off of a lung they said that she was stable 6 hours later she died she went into cardiac arrest they tried to resuscitate her for 45 minutes and she wouldn't come back and I still have a lot of questions I don't understand why

    • @thestudyspot
      @thestudyspot  Před 2 lety +2

      So sorry to hear about your sister. When they remove cancers, they don't "open them up" the remove it as a whole to make sure it doesn't spread and they will take out a lot of normal tissue around it to make sure they don't cause it to spread. Regardless, it is sometimes the only way to remove it. Any surgery involving the lungs is a high risk surgery, unfortunately, it seems your sister wasn't able to tolerate it. So sorry to hear about your sister. Will keep her in our thoughts and prayers.

      Earlier Last year I was diagnosed with CANCER in 2019 and I have tried everything I could to heal myself, but it was all to no avail, until I saw a post on a health forum about a herbalist preparing herbal medicines to cure everything type of diseases. including CANCER, at first I doubted it was real, but decided to give it a try, when I contacted this herbalist through his email and he prepared me a herbal cure for CANCER and sent it to me via the delivery service of UPS from the company, when I received this herbal cure. They gave me step by step instructions on how to apply it, when I applied it according to the instructions I was totally cured of this deadly disease within 5 months of use, I am now CANCER free, all thanks to Dr. PETER You can also contact this great herbalist for help by email: peteroare0@gmail.com or contact Dr. PETER through his whatsapp number: +2348161615389 He is also specialize in treating all kinds of diseases, VIRUS HERPES , HEPATITIS B, CANCER, BRAIN DISEASE, INFERTILITY, DIABETES EPILEPSY AND MORE ...... I bet you're dead now, as this was posted 5 years ago. This doctor is not crazy. There is no treatment for SCLC past Stage 3. It only kills the cancer temporarily and it always comes back. From reading your Comment, I'm guessing you learned that the hard way. Of course they'll take your money and "try" 7 weeks of chemo or radiation. Regardless, nothing works for advanced SCLC. Nothing.

    Phillip Morris & Co., Ltd. -- We at Phillip Morris would just like to state that there is no definitive link between cancer or emphysema and our products. Not all scientists agree and more much more research needs to be done regarding this issue before any conclusions can be made. Our own research indicates that overall, smoking is beneficial for good health and relieving stress, anxiety and providing a feeling of psychological well-being. We encourage the public to not be taken- in by all the false and misleading information regarding cigarette smoking by the liberal news media. Many scientists have misrepresented information about our products to obtain research grants, benefiting themselves. Also, no one compels our customers to smoke, it is by their own choice and a matter of freedom to decide. For over 150 years Phillip Morris has been providing smoking enjoyment to our customers and we encourage everyone to try our products. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you from all of us at Phillip Morris & Co.,Ltd. Steffi Reitch, senior director of public affairs.

      @thestudyspot  Před rokem +1

      According to the CDC, smoking is the leading cause of preventable disease, disability, and death in the United States. Your accusation that independent scientists are manipulating their research for funding while industry-sponsored research is unbiased is a ridiculous claim. I don't doubt there are some positive effects on stress, anxiety, and weight loss, but there are healthier ways to achieve those goals. No one has ever stated that your customers were "compelled" to smoke; everyone does it based on their freedom of choice. It appears to be a cheap attempt to garner sympathy by making yourselves the victim.
