The Anschütz 1782 rifle in a GRS Bifrost stock, chambered in the good old 6,5x55 SE / Swede / swedish mauser, is insanely precise.

Another excellent video Morten! I have the 1782 in classic wood stock in left hand. Mine is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor since that’s more popular here in the USA than the Swede. But as you have already seen, the accuracy is excellent and the recoil is very mild even without a moderator (I’m waiting on papers for mine). I was recently shooting mine at 500 yards and was consistently staying below 1 MOA. I was able to regularly hit the 5 inch steel disc at 500 yards with Hornady factory ammunition with 147 grain ELDM. I really love mine and you clearly love yours since you now have two! Happy hunting and shooting. What game do you intend to use your 6.5 for? And thanks again for providing the English subtitles. Cheers from the states.

Wow., I"m glad to hear that yours is a tackdriver as well. I really hope to be able to try it out at longer distances soon.
I will take a trip to the 300m shooting range soon. Hopefully when the fields are harvested soon.
I intend to use this for fox and roe deer. But it is legal for fallow deer (whitetail size) and even red deer (elk size).
Next winter I am going to Sweden to hunt fallowdeer and wild boar. I think I will bring the 6,5 mm.

It sounds like you are living a charmed life from a hunting standpoint! You will be well served with your new 6.5 just as countless hunters have been for over 100 years. Good luck on your upcoming hunts with your new system.

130gn Norma Golden Target are no FMJ 😉 BTHP Matchammo
Did Anschütz inlet the GRS Stock to fit there Beddingblock? Or has the GRS not the same Bedding then the Woodstocks?
I love my Anschütz 1771 in 223 and think about getting a 1782 as next (Anschütz Triggers are so nice)

You are correct, they are not FMJ. My mistake😊.
The inlet are made in fiberglass reinforced material.
Not aluminum like the wood stock versions.
They fit very tight, and can't move around.
      Yes the triggers are superb.👍

@@MortenSchultzHunting thx for the Anwser, no Problem with the FMJ i have a Mauser M12 in 6.5x55SE and it loves these 130gn BTHP (they are the Same as RWS Scorion and Geco Target BTHP/ i have tried all 3 Brands from RUAG Geco are the cheapest and i get the same Results on the Target then with the other 2 and the only difference with the Brass is that it is not polished after the last Annealing.... i know a guy that works for RUAG ....)
Anschütz Triggers are so good you can tune them so exact for your personal preferences it is simply a Joy to use them, from the Factory my 1771 was at around 1000 gram with a little bit of travel at the Beginning (half mm) now it has zero travel with 800Gramm most of my Rifles are Set to 800Gramm but the Anschütz Trigger just feels a little bit crisper then the others (Steel Action HS, Mauser M12 ....)

I forgot to mention. I like the scope you selected. I’m considering that same optic for a Sauer 202 that I have in 30-06. How do you like the optical clarity and the mechanical adjustment mechanism? Does the quality match up to Zeiss?

I have never owned a zeiss, but I have looked through a few, and I will say Leicas glass is one of the best.
Zeiss made some cheaper scopes, I think it was called Terra, and they did not impress me.
The mechanical seems to work great. The clicks are very firm and all dials not too tight or too loose.
So far it feels like top quality.

Great setup Morten. I'm not a big fan from polymer GRS stocks but i like a fine classic piece of nice wood on a hunting rifle. That's only a matter of taste of coarse. Cheers!

I follow you, I like a nice wooden stock as well. I will still enjoy my .308 with the classic walnut stock, and this will be my workhorse and for a bit longer range shooting.
      Thanks for your feedback.
      Best regards Morten
