- Colony is a strategy flash game made by the creator of Sonny. It's a multiplayer game, but the main gameplay is the 6 mission campaign. You play as multiple factions that get their own advantages in building an army to destroy your opponent across the map.
Interestingly both teams have an AI teammate that does their own thing. They seem to adapt pretty well to how you're playing actually.

Colony was one of the mini video games that completely marked my childhood.

Ohhh Colony was a top tier OG flash RTS that many hours have been lost playing. it's a shame they tried to make a second one but sadly didn't follow through.

My main complaint with this game is that you need to respond to the chat in order to get the full story, plus you get a very small period to type a response in.
The only thing I didn’t love about this game was hackers
One of the great flash games when flash games were still good. I remember playing 2v2s with my brother.
The madman actually did it! Takes me back to logging into the lobbies and playing 2v2s for hours with a monarchy build after school.
Feudalism & House of Wolves are some other classics if you wanted some other suggestions.

I remember a game similar to this same sort of theme base v base but it was like modern themed with a rebel group fighting a more established military themed faction, but you had to build buildings that produced specific units and the buildings could then only upgrade those units. I think the most memorable thing from it was upgrading jets with chaff upgrades to defeat enemy SAMs. Does anybody remember the name for that game.

Heya, just wanted to ask since you seem to know a lot of flash games, have you ever played a game where you're a small yellow dude fighting othet things in an arena? All I remember is thay the first foe was a zorro horse and the second was a guy riding on top of an animal (maybe and elephant?)

I think the game you're talking about was 'Powerfox' since I'd played that game and Zorro's horse was one of the fights.

Capitalists and fascists were best if I recall. Capitalists were strong if you managed to set up resource buildings, because they generated more quickly as a capitalist. Fascists were if you wanted to play a forge and attack earlier.
Highly skill based,but a halfway decent partner meant u could do whatever, I mostly mained monarch but spent a lot of time on cap and fas
