She behaved horribly on 90 Day Fiance. I can still pick up on some of that self-absorbed energy she had during that show. It's not a good look. I don't think she has a "bad" voice, per se. I do think her voice is to "breathy," linguistics are inconsistent and during her performances - she's operating outside her comfort zone which gives the appearance her movements are unnaturally clumsy and to theatrical. She does well in her church and the town/market she lives in with the type of music she sings. However, she's not American Idol material. It would serve her well to review/study all these episodes and the viewers commentaries. Then she can take a long, hard, honest look at things and critique herself without any reservation or skewed perceptions. Otherwise, this will never be anymore than a hobby in a small town. In all honesty, there's no shame in that whatsoever.

Like the Cranberries and Florence and the Machine mixed together - she is very affected, over-exaggerates words, doesn't articulate, doesn't enunciate, runs out of breath, and makes the weirdest mouth movements. Her family loves her, of course, and feeds her whims. She will never be more famous than she is right now, for her 90 Day Fiance stint (which really was about getting her a record deal) and American Idol (about getting her a record deal). I don't think she'll ever be signed to any lucrative deal. Her original songs all sound the same, and honestly, I can't understand a word she sings unless I know the song, or the words are on the screen for her original stuff. She is just awful.

I'm a musician and 100% she used David and the show as an avenue to try to promote herself. She isn't talented at all and this is coming from a life long musician that plays, reads, and writes music and plays 6 instruments. Her husband was right, if she wanted to do something with her music, she needs to leave her small town for a large city that could better develop her talents and with pros that know the game.

As a singer myself I gotta say that it feels like her breath control is all wrong. It's like she's using all her air too quickly and then trying to catch up. She also seems to be singing way below her natural register. I could be wrong about that, but it's my first reaction. She has tremendous beauty, though I think her super Christian ideals limit her audience though I guess there's a built-in audience for Christian music. I think there's a market for her, but it's not mainstream or 'American Idol' necessarily. As others have said, I think she'd benefit greatly from a vocal coach who can be totally honest with her.

As a singer myself I gotta say that it feels like her breath control is all wrong. It's like she's using all her air too quickly and then trying to catch up. She also seems to be singing way below her natural register. I could be wrong about that, but it's my first reaction. She has tremendous beauty, though I think her super Christian ideals limit her audience though I guess there's a built-in audience for Christian music. I think there's a market for her, but it's not mainstream or 'American Idol' necessarily.
As others have said, I think she'd benefit greatly from a vocal coach who can be totally honest with her.

I didn't watch her on 90 day fiance, but agree with her singing. After reading some comments it's clear many disliked her before she came on this show and I'm sure that's affecting the cold reception. I certainly find hers a unique voice and fully enjoyed her singing.

Maybe they had her act a certain on 90 day fiance for views. A lot of reality shows have fake footage and maybe they wanted to keep it dramatic. I thought she carried herself well and that it was strange that someone who carried themselves that way would act like that. She portrays herself well here so maybe that's how she's truly always been.
Well....my opinion is that she was a teenager who thought she was special because she was getting married at 18 and having an expensive wedding. In her audition she was boasting about being married at 18....says it all.
