- Enjoy this film presented to you by BNW Outdoors, where Brayden, Brady, and Rick step foot into an Idaho unit they've never laid eyes on in person, and overcome the challenges Mule deer hunting presents in the backcountry of the Idaho wilderness. Throughout their trip they have many encounters with some quality bucks, and were able to double down on 2 Mule Deer, and Brady was able to harvest his first deer.
This was our first out of state hunt which came with its challenges, putting the guys in an unfamiliar hunting environment, the mental grind, and the challenges with other hunting pressure.
Follow the guys along on their journey in the high country of Idaho chasing the amazing wild creatures that call this beautiful yet rugged terrain home, the high country mule deer.

Great video! I would suggest to your dad that when shooting, never have your barrel on the rest your shooting from. Always put the stock on the rest.

Word of advice when shooting never rest on the barrel… always on the foreplate on the stock… probably why he missed, tough deal I know things get forgotten in the heat of the moment

Really enjoyed the video...I'm considering an idaho hunt myself, can you recommend a unit?

I would say probably Southern ID! I can’t really say any particular units as I’m just starting to hunt over there myself and don’t know units that well. I’d recommend early October! Weather is usually somewhat enjoyable!
Bring a sling shot/wrist-rocket for grouse.

You shot high because of resting your barrel on the tripod, rooky mistake.
