I am 450lbs and I started eating the raw diet on December 7th of this year. I am doing 99% juicing and 1% raw carrots/apples/bananas. It's now January 17th and I've lost 65lbs and totally satisfied. Anyone who truly wants to lose weight but is discouraged by previous diets give this a try...it will truly change your life!!

i started my diet with 1500 now im trying to eat all raw fruits and vegetable (1200) calories (when i reach my goal ill eat 1500) but there is something idk why it's happening i don't understand.carbs can get higher than the main calories which is annoying.I'm trying to eat less carbs and i don't get it.
I want to start juicing but I keep reading you gain back a lot of weight after you start eating normal again. By eating normal i mean vegetables, not mcdonalds

That's really how I feel right now, the more I eat fruit the more I'm attracted to healthy and vibrant food and keep away from junked food :) Thank you it's so encouraging !!

I started to eat more fruits and veggies recently and I can testify that I feel so much better and alive and lots more sustaining energy. let hope my blender holds up. I enjoy watching your videos and the things you come up with. I really don't miss the foods I used to eat anymore. :)

When I first went Raw I lost 30 lbs. NOT just because the Raw began lifestyle, but also because I was climbing four flights of stairs four to five time a day, walking from class to class, and certainly wasn't eating as much as I should have. Now, I'm back to a normal weight (I'm not sure what it is, because I don't believe in weighing myself). I look and feel healthy! Thats whats important. Although I felt amazing when I weighed very little, mainly because of the clean foods I was putting into my body, I looked ill. I was so thin people thought I had a problem (even though they saw me eating pounds of food everyday).
What's important is to eat enough fruits and veggies. Calculate it!! Eat until your full, and don't do intense workouts at first.. its too dangerous.

The allergy is not something to be happy about, but it's good to know I'm not alone and that there are people experiencing similar things to what I am.

I seem to be getting canker sores in my mouth when I eat oranges. Why is that, and for this plan should I substitute the citrus?

so if you become a raw vegan you don't have to worry about calories. How come in the what i eat in a day video you said that you have to balance the amount of calories you eat with how much exercise you do. Do you think you could eat as much as free lee and not gain weight? please please answer also great video!

You say you lost weight and reached your prime weight after 14 days. But most of that is water weight. The body doesn't lose fat stores after just two weeks when you are dining on fruit and veggies. It's a long process

I think the juice is supposed to help with digestion since it is the first meal and will help digestion! :)

Late response, but, on a raw diet you do not need to calories, eat until full. You will need to eat more volume to feel full.
What if your already thin,but still want to go raw vegan? I don't wanna be u underweight!..I want to eliminate processed,snd eat better.

It's not only for people who want to lose weight but for people who want to gain health in general. If you are unhealthy and need to gain weight, the raw food diet will help you get there. It will nourish your body adequately and make you gain weight if necessary. :)

Yes, but very unlikely it depends on the fat content, an example of fruits/veggies high in fat are avocados, nuts, dates, etc

+celebrationhappylife Just eat until you are fully satisfied. It also depends on your height, weight, metabolism. I usually aim for at least 2500 calories.
