After a horrendous start and middle to this season I've finally started to pick up 150pts this week, only had 17pts on bench. Last 4 gw gone from 1.3 mill to 500 k
Yea had an amazing second part of the season, top 8k in second chance, just wished i played like this all season😂

Gvardiol was the difference maker this GW I feel. I swapped out Walker for him 5 mins before the deadline after the leaks and it's put me from 100k to 75k. Been due a bit of luck 😂😂

Same thing with me, made the transfer 4 minutes before deadline and moved from 10k to 6k
I’ve secured 1st place in all my mini leagues as I’m at least 100 points ahead in each 😄 currently ranked 23K, hoping to get a top 20K finish which I’d be delighted with considering I was 73k in GW34
121 without a BB this week, pretty happy I've kept up
133 points on BB this week for a +14 green arrow, squeezed just inside the top 2.5k. Have my triple captain left for the final gameweek of the season, which I’m hoping can help me finish with a 1 in front of my rank, but that might be asking for a bit much.
I like Cody Gakpo for a punt on the final weekend vs Wolves. £7.1m, 2.5% owned, plays as a forward so doesn’t eat into midfield options. Given price, can get him for either Isak or Jackson in one FT.
148 and just outside the 100k. Gusto, Gvardiol and De Bruyne doing the damage and holding Dubravka was ok in the end
It's definitely about the swings.
Holding a player would have backfired for me last week, and maybe the week before that - yet this week they do well.
It all balances out.
I took a -4 to bring in Gvardiol. It paid off really well
Gvardiol just cost me my mini league, was top with 8 points clear, now I am second with 8 points off😊
8 points is still doable in the final week at least. Gvardiol is probably scoring again though 😆

That's rough. I took a -8 to bring in four players that scored 50 between them. The players they replaced scored 2 points combined. So it was net +40 points.
No chance of catching? You could get Gvardiol and captain him to reverse the curse!
Atleast ur not my ML leader.. he went without haaland at 35 WC and now his 100 point lead has turned into 6 😂

Im in 50k and considering Salah(C)+Mateta in for Bruno+Isak for -4, alongside Son, Palmer, Foden, Gordon (bench), Haaland, Jackson, for Klopp's last and bit of fun. With Vicario in goal ahead of Onana, do I bench Porro or Cucurella?

Anyone wanting to use ederson for the final game week U may need to use a transfer as he is injured for the rest of the season
If i'm already using a transfer to bring in an Arsenal defender (I have Dunk, Burn and Branthwaite), do you think it's worth bringing an extra Arsenal or Liverpool midfielder in for Fernandes for a hit?
The extra transfer would also allow me to bring in White with Havertz as opposed to just Saliba or Gabriel, as well as giving me an attacking bench option in case Gordon is injured
I have had 1 small and 3 big green arrows in the last 4 weeks. from 128k to 47k. best end of the season I ever had, even though I have had seasons with a way better OR at the end. few decisions to make this week, do I bench Petrovic or Vicaro, gordon or Isak. And who do I bring in for Fernandes.
Would you recommend hits on the final game week or not?

With the news that Ederson is out, would you prefer to move to Ortega or to Raya with only one free transfer? Caveat being I’m three points behind in mini league and they already have Gabriel and Saliba and I have just Gabriel.

I’m top of my mini league by 25 points. Should I take a -4 to go Darwin > Jackson? I need to get Porro first so the guy in 2nd doesn’t have him as a differential.
Picked up Maguire in the WC and after his injury, swapped Ederson to Vicario and Maguire to Gvardiol with my 2 FTs last week... Definitely worked out in my favor. Currently 33.5k OR...best ranking in all of my years of playing FPL so very happy with that so no need to go punty this week.. Was planning to do Bruno to Harvertz since I didnt expect him to play last night.. but now that he is back, not sure what to do with my FT. The squad at the moment is Vicario, Gabriel, Pedro Porro, Gvardiol, Palmer, Foden, Son, Bruno, Haaland, Isak, Jackson... bench the same as Andy... Want to use my FT but not sure that is even necessary.
I Finished on a 136 points and currently 1,015,400 and I'm aiming to get inside that 1 mill. I will be using my free hit and i'm undecided on which certain player to bring in. Your thoughts on Andrew Robertson? Do I sell Saka for Havertz?

I honestly don't think there is much reason to secondguess Gvardiol vs Ederson too much. I don't think many people predicted a Gvardiol 27 pointer tbh (I have him, but could have just as easily went with Ederson). What I don't understand is the love for Spurs in this stage, they haven't exactly been playing well for the past few game weeks. I am curious what the reasoning is behind that. For input, I had 144 points with triple captain on Haaland (I blew my WC/BB earlier in the season). :)
I have both FH and BB and also 2 FT. Team consists of RAYA, GABRIEL, DOUGHTY, MITCHELL, FODEN, SAKA, PALMER, GORDON, ISAK, HAALAND, WATKINS
Bench: TURNER, EZE, ZABARNYI, TAYLOR.
I'm top of my league with 23 pts difference. The guy below me has BB and 1 FT, consisting of 3 city (GV, FOD, HAA) 3 chelsea (PAL, NJ, CHA).
What should i do?
I didn't prioritize Haaland in for Wolves and got owned by the 4 goals. Feel behind and had to go differential captain. Picked Isak. Feels terrible losing the minileague over it.

I know why you would feel underwhelmed, I used my Wildcard in GW30 and scored 127 (including a -4) with Bench boost this week, in theory you had set your wildcard up for this bench boost week, but as your increase in rank suggests, it went well, but not very well.
I have your exact same team selection line up with petrovic I can go porro or gvardiol . With wildcard chip left. Havertz for Johnson? Maybe up grade Jackson or Isak ?

Son missed similar chance against Arsenal too, he haven't been in good form lately but have to keep him against Blades. As City supporter i really didn't mind him missing it, good save from Ortega too. Burnley game was more disappointing. I'm currently on 56k rank, not sure if I should take risk with captaincy to win one mini-league (40 points difference) and push even higher in overall rank even though I might drop back to near 100k or even worse if it goes wrong.
Son to either Olise or Havertz this week for me - I'm over 100 points clear in my mini league so only pushing for rank.
Sold Gusto for a hit so I could get Jackson in, absolute heartbreak.. Would be top 1k now if i just rolled

Why Eze and not Olise? Olise is cheaper (maybe for you it doesn't matter) and is recent form is great.
Anyways, i'm chasing a 14 point defficit in my mini league, i'm taking the risk and going with 2 differentials: Tomiyasu and Olise. Not sure who to captaing tho, i need the miracle to win my mini league and have KDB, Foden, Haaland (not doing it, the first place is doing it), Palmer and Olise. I just have this weird feeling about olise and i wanna captain him
It’s only 0.3m difference so doesn’t matter for me, I just tend to take the guy with penalties mostly.

How did you find your old ranks and seasons on fpl?
Go to points page, there should be a link to "gameweek history" under points and ranking section. On phone you have to scroll quite a bit to find the section and scroll down again to find previous season ranks

Yes I would say so, but it depends how similar your other players are to the other team. Salah or Palmer are the obvious ones. Or wait until team news is out and pick a random like Gapko or Mateta.

I was 200k just before my wildcard now I’ve gone down to 84k so I’m really happy with how it’s gone and thanks to taking out ederson and maguire for Pickford and gvardiol it’s won me my mini league
12:29 European qualification will be decided with the FA cup. If United win then they get a europa league spot and only 5th place will get the 2nd europa league spot with 6th getting Conference league but if United lose *cough cough* then both 5th and 6th will get the europa league spots and 7th will get Conference league
So it'll make no difference finishing 5th/6th in terms of European qualification 😂

You’ve mentioned you were around 25k. But haven’t been back there since. It was because the free hitters took advantage and you’ve always been adamant that you felt you used used the chips well.

Going Haaland (c) makes no sense . Take a gamble for highest possible position man.

@@LetsTalkFPL Yeah, and for 37 gameweeks Haaland is the sensible pick. You want to stay competetive for the season, but this is the last round, and unless your defending ml rank, its time for a gamble.
