How to use Repatha

Repatha is an injection used to reduce LDL bad cholesterol levels which in turn reduces your risk of having a heart attack or stroke.

Don't swab excess alcohol off with cotton, alcohol works by replacing water in the cell then evaporating-drying out the bacteria. Removing alcohol reduces or negates the antiseptic effect (not to mention that the cotton wasn't sterile so you're wiping with "dirty" cotton). Wait for it to evaporate. Otherwise good demo on how to use the auto-injectors.

I came here to learn the correct way to use the Repatha injector. I have diabetes and use two different insulin pens. I am not familiar with using an entire pen at one injection, so I wanted to make sure this was correct. You made it much more clear than the paper-instructions. I got it! Don't wipe off extra alcohol from the wipes. That's the mechanism of alcohol pads....as it drys it kills the bacteria. Takes a minute or so
