Watching Dynazenon series, had to look back to the original Gridman series for This specific episode. It's so crazy how it really connects that the mummy is actually Gauma who died and betraying his Enguinist friend for princess(?) 5,000 years ago. Holy shit.. Forgive me for the profanity.. but I had a very different view of the series after watching your video. I've already watched SSSS Gridman and SSSS Dynazenon twice each.. and only with this video of yours, I could see how the team made it so well done with stuff from the old and original series.. I never thought about all this about the Gauma.. This just enhances the character even more.. and also gives a more sentimental ending to what happens at the end of the series.. Thank you for bringing these videos to the fans. You've done a great job for the community who, like me, have never seen the original series and were never going to get all those references.
If i remember, some fans said that Gauma is killed with poison in the live action and he's killed by his teammate in the anime is conflicting with each other and only one of them is canon. But i think both of them is canon. Maybe the royal family afraid of Gauma as Kaiju User and also his closeness with the princess also makes them think, what will the people said if the princess married someone as scary as Gauma, so they poisoned him, maybe little by little just to make sure he doesn't noticed it. But, because Gauma is a Kaiju User, i think he and his friend have an unique constitution that make him, not immune, but make the poison on his body acted slowly. And then, after his fight with the other Kaiju User, when Gauma is truly exhausted, that is when the poison effect finally appeared and Gauma succumbed to it and finally die. Kinda sad for him, trying hard to protect the princess with all his body, soul and his love for the princess, even protecting the country that afraid of Kaiju User, just because he really love the princess, even though he need to kill the other Kaiju User who betrayed the country to prove it, only for him to be betrayed by the country, leaving the princess to commit suicide and even after Gauma is revived, he can't meet the princess again and fulfill their promise. At least he gave the Dynazenon team some hope for their future
@@Birthday888 The scar on his face tho. On the other hand, I really like how everyone has that scar appearing on their different body parts in the final episode, I guess symbolizing union of hearts
@@0MZetO More like a scar of the killing blow. He didn't die by physical harm. The scar on the face isn't enough to kill him since it doesn't seem to be deep enough to kill.
I'm currently seeing the original Ultraman series from 1966, and in one episode, there was a mummy that had a special connection with a dragon like kaiju...after seeing some episodes of Dynazenon, it finally clicked to me that there is actually a lot of similarities between Gauma and his ability as a kaiju eugenicist to control kaijus and that mummy...I wonder if that's a coincidence...
@@justyournormalaverageguy9750 Nah, he's definitely alive. No one sees him, he's in the back while everyone is facing in the other direction. It's a common animation and storytelling technique to tell you a character is alive but will not interact with the main cast.

特撮グリッドマンは見たことなかったから
これでアニメの謎が全て解けてスッキリしてそしてそれ以上にすごく感動した😂
ちゃんと姫と再会できて、お別れもきちんとできてガウマにはよかったと思う
ダイナゼノンだけでもめちゃくちゃ面白いけどグリッドマン見たあと見返すとなんか泣けてくる

Yep. I think this is the case as well. After all, Gauma had zero wounds on his body before he died.

It’s pretty obvious he’s still poisoned in Dynazenon since his body has large patches of discolored skin and he exhibits more weakness as time goes on

The show was Denkou Choujin Gridman, and nothing in that title translates as "Hyper Agent". "Denkou Choujin" translates as "Lightning Superman".
