Honestly, this is one of the most unique games I have seen in awhile. I hardly see full gameplays anymore, but this game kept me watching. IT a very cool concept. It doesn't parody Fnaf, or found footage games. It is an original game where you have 5 POVs to help you solve a case while a killer robot hunts you down, with mechanics getting in the way of your video quality. It has a bunch of different secrets and evidence to use which makes it very ambient and mysterious, similar to how FNAF was when it came out, but way better. Input6 is honestly the best way to start 2023 (even though it came out in 2022).

So I figure that Andre, the network manager, sent out the alert signal after he was fired. But why? Was he a jilted employee looking for a bit of vengeance, or had he uncovered something dangerous and made an effort to stop it?
The explosives were probably part of a corporate cover-up, so the second one does seem to have a bit more weight.

Prolly been set up by the Locre dude, he didn’t want the police/investigators to look into Locre using the surveillance system of the bots invading privacy…
What if Locre has somehow programmed/manipulated the bots to spy on people’s money, see where they store their safe/cash in? And that bot from the report wielding the knife is to kill the owner to steal their money? These bots are pretty damn fast so they can certainly reach the factory with the loot, too fast and too QUIET to be seen and the bot was doing it in the bedroom so presumably around nighttime they can get away with it. IDK, just hashing out ideas, why else is there such a huge emphasis on privacy unless there’s a monetary incentive to it…

This game creator is a Mastermind. I can't even begin to fathom how the premise and mechanics were created!
With almost no instruction, you made it through quite well!
The fear factor on this game is top notch. I can't make out the story fully myself but the PW being "EmilyDole" makes me wonder if Maidai was modeled after someone close to one of the three dudes who worked on this company. I honestly wasn't expecting a big amount of lore within a simply short gameplay loop but i like it!
Perhaps Emily was close with one of the three main guys. It did say in that newspaper article about the announcement of the company's new invention that she's the representative. Perhaps something went down with her which lead to the arrest of the three men. If MaidAI is their big new thing and Emily is the representative of the company, then it must mean that she's directly related to the fall of the company.
Edit: I just looked back on Ryan's video where he was reading the archives and in that one page with the signatures of the three guys, there was one that was crossed out that was just "Emil" maybe it was going to be Emily but she was sabotaged, and now she's out for revenge which lead to the downfall or something.
I honestly felt bad when Ryan had to apologise for being excited in winning, it reminded me of that one guys who always dreamed to ride in a lambo and he told the driver not to be scared of him because he makes noises and actions when he's excited

so glad Ryan played this game. It's a refreshing take on creepy animatronics and is very well done. the atmosphere is perfect at keeping that constant sense of dread making you get increasingly more and more unnerved and on edge. definitely one I've got to play myself.

SPOILERS:
I think the partner who previously worked in military contracting set up explosives at his own factories to get rid of all of his glitchy robots. While the protagonist is a private investigator hijacking various units to gather evidence against the company and witnesses the cover up explosion as it takes place. Maybe something like that?
Yea. Also, I think the robots were more than just glitchy. They were actively trying to kill the players' character, the one that was different from them. Maybe they had military tech in them or something else that completely malfunctioned because the one guy specialized in military tech and also a customer sent in a complaint that one attacked them with a knife. Plus all those warnings about "incorrect use" , "incorrect setup", and no manual way to shut them off is really suspicious.
@@UnfazedPhoenix Exactly! He recycled military tech into a cleaning robot. A theme I've seen in multiple Sci-Fi productions. Which made the retail units dangerous for buyers. Man, I'm glad somebody confirmed my interpretation of the story. So I don't feel crazy.

I like this game since this is actually really similar to a nightmare that I used to have. Basically, the nightmare is that there is some invisible entity that chases me, and I have to hide by possessing someone. More often than not, the entity will find me and I have to quickly escape by possessing another person.

The archive stuff at the end of the game, particularly the newspaper clip detailing video taping and privacy concerns, reminds me of a real-life incident involving Eufy taking video footage from costumers' Eufy products and uploading it to a cloud, which they had said previously was NOT something they did. They said that they don't use that data for anything and it gets automatically deleted, but people have been able to still see their footage on those cloud storage places and even VIEW IT WHILE NOT LOGGED IN with the right kind of know-how. Absolutely horrifying.

Wow there's so much in here. I'm pretty sure that you're cycling through Maidai bodies. In some cases you can see a sort of shattered glass in the periphery of your vision like broken glass, or more likely given the technology, a cracked camera lens. So the ones "attacking" you might not have been hostile, but trying to fix a damaged sister.
Not that they weren't hostile. The red eyes proved that, but in the ending, after Ryan got all the remotes and started the assembly line, right after the explosion the model that attacked you had green eyes. Ready for commands, according to the documentation. Since they switch back to red, whatever signal started this was still active. I'm still not sure what role the fired programmer played... but the only evidence is his badge was found at ground zero. He may not have actually had said badge.
I'm also curious about Agreste, because everything in this game comes back to robot surveillance, the company's specialty. No way that's accidental.

Yeah, this game is scary. All you can do is rely on your hearing to know if she is running for you and see if she is directly in front of you, and sometimes both of them trick you and make you screw up. Spooky
Thankfully she does freeze for like half a second if you look at her, but you need a fast reaction time to get out of there
My first thought on seeing the names of the bots is the phrase ''M'aider'' which means ''Help Me''. As a maid, that's what they were there for - to help people. Of course that is where we get the expression ''Mayday'' which is used as a distress call or when a disaster strikes (like on a boat or plane). That kind of forshadows that something is very VERY wrong with this factory and these bots
