came here for answers and i got i dont know what that is so dont mess with it lmao came back to answer mine as well as anyone elses questions 1. acceleration/decelration: this option will allow you to set a threshold for your speed to adjust upon movement. for example: you can make it go faster then usual if you flick or slower then usual if your moving slow. 2. angle snapping: this option makes it so the software will try to preict your movement and ignore small deviations. in short the higher the angle snapping, the straighter your lines will be when moving. DO NOT turn this on for fps games as you often have to make small adjustments which wont register if you have this on. 3. polling rate: this refers to the amount of times data is being sent to the computer to register. this means that for exmaple, 1000hz means its sending data back to the computer 1000 times a second. faster polling rate is always reccomended for gaming. some softwares let you choose your own while other mice boast up to 8000hz polling rates (razer viper 8k). in short the faster the polling rate the better sensor tracking and faster click registration you will get. hope this helped someone :D
do you know why im having issues connecting my artics 9x to the same app he is using ? for some simple reason probably < for the life of me i cant see my headphones on there . i wanted to get into the headphones settings to adjust different sounds for WZ . now i have been at this for a few hours and i could just be slow but i cant get my headphones to even show up in engine and i have my headphone connected to my macbook air and i have it connected via bluetooth help please .
In case you dont see your devices on Mac - go to System Settings / Privacy & Security / Input Monitoring and enable Steelseries GG. App will restart and your device will appear on Engine tab.

took me a long time and finally figured it out. you have to make sure the dongle switch is on USB and not on ps4/xbox. connect the dongle via USB to the pc. also connect the headset via USB. the app will recognize the headset plugged in
My rival 600 doesn’t get detected on the software (MacBook) my cursor works with it but it just won’t detect. You know how I can fix this ? I tried closing it, uninstall and reinstall and nothing. Maybe download the firm update ?

I have the Steel series engine and whenever i open it, it just opens and says mouse isnt connected and no matter what i do it still doesnt work. ps i have a steelseries rival 3 and i have a mac that can support the program. PLLLLLEEEASE help

Angle snapping is exactly what it sounds like, it helps you move the pointer in a straight line, could be useful for some applications but certainly not for FPS games.
@@fxn6695 : I've personally not used the software but from what I've seen of it so far in videos it doesn't look like you can change debounce time. However nobody seems to have made a good video that simply shows everything the software can do so it could be there in the settings somewhere.
Im really happy steelseries works with mac because im getting the 650 and im also gonna use the steelseries engine im very thankful
