    I am a vet nurse in an emergency hospital and love your teaching style , am studying along side working nutritional therapy. I have to say your videos really explain and help me understand so much better. Not this video I know ,but your cardiology and ECG modules were the only ones that finally connected the dots after countless viewings. You are an excellent teacher. Thankyou for putting your content out there Dr Campbell 😊

    Thank you for all your work online, John. I find you from your videos on coronavirus, but you have so many relevant articles for practice! I'll be sharing them with my colleagues :)

    Followed you for a year through covid but today I got my blood test results through which show I have high bilirubin levels..so went and looked up to see if you had done a video on this.. and here we are.

    well done Sir

  • @dr.yuvarajanpalanisamy9805

    Super explaination sir thank you.
    1)Does the urobilinogen cross through liver or directly to kidney
    2)removal of gall bladder has any singinficant ill effects?
    3)jaundice can be even pre hepatic origin like hemolytic anaemia due to some infection due to excessive breakdown of RBC in which liver may not be the problem am I correct sir?

    • @Campbellteaching
      @Campbellteaching  Před 5 lety +4

      1. I think it goes directly to the kidneys. 2. Yes, fatty meals may cause 'dumping syndrome'. 3. Yes, but in pre-hepatic haemolytic jaundice the jaundice is usually mild, but you are right, there is nothing wrong with the liver. 4. No one calls me sir, Im just an ordinary bloke called John

    What is the result of regularly donating plasma? As this breaks down the blood cells when they take the plasma out but put the blood back? Can there be a long term effect from this?

    Hi Dr Walsh,
    I don’t know if you’ll see this, but any thoughts on my average high/low markers the last 2.5 years?
    - average total bilirubin: 2 mg/dL
    - average albumin/globulin: 2.5
    - average platelet count: 120,000 x10E3/uL
