This was shot over around 7 or 8 different days mainly because hyperlapses take up a lot of battery with the Mini 2 and Mini 3 Pro

I despise what Leeds city council have done to the city centre. Every single building surrounding that bridge is literally a god-awful brick monstrosity that looks like a commy block from the soviet union, completely devoid of any style, colour or any feature whatsoever. If you compare Leeds city centre to Manchester it's even more depressing, Manchester city council really take pride in their city; every building is unique, every building is colourful and has style. Leeds on the other hand is becoming this bleak, monotonous, uniform mix between a dystopian future and the soviet union.

@@ldslad1696 Couldn't agree more mate. I occasionally look back at renderings of Criterion, Lumiere and the Kite tower and think; what could have been. Leeds could have been the second city of the UK. But Leeds City Council does not give one shit about the city they are supposed to serve.

the new stuff going up is dreadful cheap and nasty- i walked around the city today, it's become a bland soulless consumerists wet dream- all this gentrification and ugly new architecture is all for the benefit of the johnny come lately lot & the students etc i couldn't wait to get out the place

when you approach the city centre east bound via york road (WHICH IS DEPRESSING ENOUGH) the giant Lego skyline comes into view and its ugly - that opal tower thingy from 2008 sums up the pathetic lack of vision and poor leadership in this city - and they're still wrecking the place and as for that collection of boxes by the bridge i just totally despair!!
