I'm not an engineer but after seeing so many sidecars buildings...none of them...had a Bluetooth stereo on it...all it takes is a round marine stereo with marine speakers...build/ installed on small dashboard made of fiberglass and wood finish...aux in & usb for mp3....and maybe a small amp. Of course an additional battery is needed with a charging cable from the bike elec.system...I designed an outdoor radio with all the components that I just mentioned...including the cedar dash with 36 coat's of clear coat...it may a bit difficult on the first try but it will all change with practice... cheer's men!

Going to copy your build for a wheeled cargo rack for a 76 GL1000 DerTracker project. Thank you for the idea. This is awesome!

Hy there Smitty , i used this type as i wanted to keep the vintage style , put there is a more easy way with a ball pivot under the bike , i saw it somewhere on the internet made on a BMW . it is easier to build for bikes with higher ground clearance ! enjoy the built !

Nice job, same request of full video with bike-side unit please. Myself am working on a flexit sidecar version with double usage both fixed and parallel and eventually 2wd for BMW RT1150. I still have a question to resolve for this project which is the position of the side wheel which (as you certainly know) is slightly displaced forward with respect to rear wheel of the bike. Mechanically, is this displacement also necessary for flexit mode, if not I will have to work out a multiple-position adjustment of side wheel to meet the requirement of alternative usage. Thanks

It was costing one year of my life , around 1200 labour hour on the complete motorcycle .
