Fix that backfiring problem| KLR 650 Valve Adjustment

heres a video on how to check and adjust your valve clearances for your KLR 650.
My bike is a 2008 KLR but this is valid for all years

Nice video, thank you. Only machine I’ve owned and checked was my 1976 KZ900, glad to see they’ve stayed with similar looking shims. Haven’t even looked to see how my valves adjust on my 2005 Kwai BruteForse 750 or 2010 Teryx. Could be the same. Looking for a larger ADV bike but so many of their valve adjustments are just whack. BMW 1259 at least has exposed heads and the Harley Pan Am uses hydraulics. But neither sport a 21” front wheel which I want. Honda, KTM, Triumph have 21’s but the valves are a pain. Doable but a pain. Thanks

fix the decel problem get rid of your air intake system (ais)right side behind rad.

No clear rectification of any backfiring proven, just a shim adjust.
