Useful for eating the greens, and letting them die and dry out then get the seeds and they will grow next season. However, most store radishes do have roots on them. Roots are what will regrow... Try the other end! If you put the root end in a glad of water with just the root part in the water it will get bigger roots. Once it's kind of bushy, a week or so, carefully untangle the roots and then plant in soil. Also, you can split the roots into 2 or more and then plant 2 so you've doubled your radish. This works with onions, spring onions, celery... Cabbage, lettuce. When you're at the grocery store, just look for roots... If you can see roots... Then they'll grow.

You will get a green plant not a radish. Let it go to seed. The pods will form. Let the pods dry completely. The seeds for next year are in the pods. Make sure you let them dry out thoroughly.

Thank you for the great video! So helpful! I noticed your biodegradable pots. Lovely! However, the way you let water run drives me crazy. I literally panicked haha.

If you allow them to grow until blooming in a garden, you can get a lot of seeds and have your new veggies 😍

You have a continuous supply of Radish greens now.
Harvest the biggest leaves and will keep growing - leaves are nutritious can be eaten raw in salads or cooked like spinach or even pickled.
Keep a few to let them go to seed + harvest pods that have the seeds (sun dry until bone dry) then plant - they will be ready to harvest whole radishes within 4-5 weeks -one of the fastest + easiest vegetable to grow!

Youre supposed to let the greens seed and then plant those to get radish bulbs.

Zainab Bhatti, I’m going to post another video soon. My second try worked out almost the same, but with one very important change: the radish root was terrible, but the raffish plant I let grow very large over several months and the four or so plants I had produced a large crop of radish pods.
The pods are about the size of edamame and tasted like edamame but with a little spice. Very delicious and great right off the plant or in a salad.
      Blessings!

James, if you allow the plants to grow to full maturity the flowers will sprout seeds pods that are completely edible. They taste great, are used in many Asian stir fries. Check out my second radish regrow video here: czcams.com/video/JE2P9ebQrYA/video.html
