Sun sets behind the southern mountains,
The white moon gets consumed by the clouds,
And the stars have fallen amid rain and clouds.
Heart saddens; unable to meet you three,
Heart saddens, unable to meet you three,
Oh, the sun, the moon and the stars,
The stars have fallen amid rain and clouds.
Heart saddens, unable to meet you three,
Heart saddens, unable to meet you three,
At the center of the planet earth -- Kham, eastern Tibet,
    Echoes, the reverent lama's teaching,
Now, I am left alone and unable to hear such teachings,
Heart saddens; I am unable to see my lama,
Heart saddens; I am unable to see my lama,
    Oh, my Lama,
Now, I am left alone and unable to hear your teachings,
Heart saddens; I am unable to see my lama,
Heart saddens; I am unable to see my lama,
    My dear father and mother,
    Ashen hair, close to departure,
Now, your kindness yet to be repaid,
    My youthful heart saddens,
    My youthful heart saddens,
    Oh, father and mother,
Now, your kindness yet to be repaid,
    My youthful heart saddens,
    My youthful heart saddens,
    {"Unable to meet you three" the "three"implies here His Holiness the Dalai lama, Panchen lama and Karmapa. Three are symbols of Tibetan unity and freedom. They represent the Tibetan people}

I see a world plagued with pain and suffering, war, famine, natural disaster, mental illness, it makes it impossible for me to be peaceful and happy with so much unhappiness in the world, I have spent 20 years searching for why its like this and have realized that their is KARMA. Karma is as real as gravity, its absolute. like what goes up must come down.I see it so clearly it has forced me to change my life and live with it, as to go against it is like walking of a ten story building in ignorance of gravity. Violence is everywhere people hurting people, but if we take a look from another angle we can see people being hurt by other people, and then we ask why? Why are people being hurt by other people? why do a lot of good people suffer violence? like women and children why are they receiving violence? The list of happenings where innocent people lose their lives is unending, far to much to list here so why? what activity are these cultures all doing that could possibly bring about such violence as seen in wars etc... the answer is "Animal slaughter", killing and causing the suffering of animals, its the only thing they all do that is violent. Cause and effect, we reap what we sow, thall shalt not kill, Karma. This and Hurting mother earth in all variety of manner, but mainly this. You only need go to any slaughterhouse to see the cause of murder genocide anguish and fear. The poor animals are screaming just like we do, they are fearful and in anxiety just like we are, if we want a non-violent world, we have to be non-violent. Their is no empathy in a society of animal killers and people who destroy rain-forest and kill all the oceans creatures. This was the Buddha's main conclusion in concerns to the cause of suffering. Violence results in violence, if you read this please try to see this, Karma is 100% reality, means weather you believe or not, doesn't matter, whether your young or old, like gravity it doesn't distinguish, fire burns weather your know its hot or not. If you don't agree with violence don't commit violence. This is where all our societies have gone wrong and thus been destroyed. take the fruit from the trees, the leaves from the gardens etc theirs no need to kill. Thank-you.

Amazing voice of the people of the high lands in the land of tibetan plateau beyond the sun of the himalayan clouds.
Is there a plain version with piano like the one he sings with his daughter?
