She really needs to work on those numbers. But she kept the calm. Kudos to that.
Love the video as training material. And while she was doing the maths, I was loving more and more my high school math teacher, as I managed to pause the video, solve the maths in my head in a few seconds and nailed the results every time. A good teacher is a blessing and we don't appreciate them.

I felt so awkward, when she failed to multiply 250 by 10000 several times. But her performance was decent. It is very stressful to know that you are filmed and will be posted on CZcams, where ppl like me will estimate your performance:)

It would have been great if the figures and calculation could be displayed alongside video
Really commend Kayla on putting herself in this position (both live and living on via CZcams). For me, this would be a no-pass rating, but almost everyone starts in that position. We learn together and she helps us all do that. Many commenters have highlighted the math, but I'd also like to look at her framework. She set up three great buckets, but did not really flesh out the details. I am not sure if she felt rushed or just became nervous being on the hot seat, but ideally you would be asking the very questions that the data is going to provide in the next section. Ultimately, I see Kayla has continued to run her small business Mighty Blendz and was hired as a consultant for InfoWorks. Wishing her continued success.
great job by candidate as well. i did pretty well along side, but i doubt i would be good as her when i was in college. so great work!
for the benefit of all - other ways to increase revenue can be - selling merchandise, getting sponsors, donation from the nearby city, renting football stadium out when not in use.

I find it much easier to calculate in thousands for this case, for example (1000K + 250*10K + 300K*6+7K*25*6), so you just only have to sum 1000K+2500K+1800K+1050K and then simply turn it into millions
If you find yourself struggling with the zeros (like the interviewee), here is a super simple, but awesome trick: Switch to scientific notation.
Here is the first calculation: 250($/student) * 10,000 (students) = (2.5*10^2) * (1*10^4) = (2.5 * 1) * 10^(2+4) = 2.5 * 10^6 = 2.5M$
Much less room for making mistakes on the zeros ... physics class was not completely in vain :D

Is it correct that you are not allowed to use calculators during a case study for calculations?
You are not allowed calculaters. It is v weird in voom interviews though because you could have a picture of the times tables up
I am wondering are they taking the candidate confirmation to record this and posting it on CZcams befor doing that ?
