@@johnc3351 Especially since they won Game 6 so convincingly - then the penalties arrived in the first period of game 7 and it was over. Both teams were exhausted, so coming back was going to be nearly impossible. They almost did it, but the refs made sure.

Vancouver has impressed me all season long. They where so dominate against a very good Ranger team. As a Habs fan I salute the Canucks for playing with determination.

I yelled out loud during Petey’s goal and scared my 11 month old. I picked him up and made him watch the replay with me.
I don't have a kid but I did also yell out loud when I saw that. Had to watch the replay like three times. A thing of absolute beauty! And the Hoglander goal moments later... *chefs kiss* just gorgeous stuff out there on the icee tonight.

Mind you we came from Northern Ontario where we had only one TV channel, CBC, and there was more snow on the screen than on the ground, the signal was so bad most nights. My dad was a huge Chicago fan. When we moved to BC I finally had my own team to cheer for. Stuck with them through the good, bad, and the ugly. What a rewarding year this is.

Also? Hoglander? Gotta keep that kid...he's developing wonderfully. Maybe never be a first line player, but you need good players on each line right?
Remember when Hoglander was drafted. He was touted as a skilled player what with the Michigan and all. What has happened since is that he's developed into a Garland-type of forward, not big but skilled, tenacious, not afraid to go into the corners.

I became a true Canucks fan during Pavel Bure's rookie season and since then, I have witnessed the 94 run, the Messier/Keenan era, the Westcost Express, the Twins/2011 run, and I deserve to be a true Canucks fan this season.

Scintillating performance from the Canucks as they come to the big apple & defeat both the Refs & the Rangers tonight... Demko was solid in net making 39 saves and some of them in spectacular form in the 6-3 victory... Canucks offense is heating up scoring 12 goals over the last 2 games as they look to keep this momentum going when they face the NY Islanders tomorrow...

The Canucks are for real; going into Madison Square and smashing the home team. All 4 lines are getting it done while Demko has been unbelievable. Ever since Rutherford took over , brought in Alvin and Tochett... the proof is in Canucks' record this far into the season. Keep waiting for the Canucks to revert back to their usual selves but that just isn't happening.

This was maybe the most exciting game all season. The Rangers are a good team too so getting a win in this fashion is wonderful to see

This was one of the best wins of the year for the Canucks and it was a sheer joy to watch! Not only was it a road win, it was a win against one of the top clubs in the NHL!!
There were 2 goals that really impressed me: the one where Pius Suter passed the puck to Nils Hoglander who passed the puck between his legs and then through the legs of the Ranger's goaltender! And then the goal by Pettersson where as he is falling down, still has the presence of mind to stick handle the puck into the net past the goaltender!
It's nice to see the Canucks going into someone else's barn and ruining their evening for once!
How odd Bruins are wearing ranger uniforms 😁. Demko came up huge and the Canucks played very well. Honestly I thought the Ranger coach was gonna cry at the end.

Those two goals were great, and it was all made possible by Demko being a wall in the first two periods.

Almost a complete game (except for a brief moment in the 3rd when they just tried to defend.) As I was watching the game, I was thinking what if Kuzmenko also got going. That's a frightening thought for the other teams.
Never knew that the Bruins were playing in both New York and Colorado.

Not a Canucks fan, but their fourth goal, by Peterson... had me sit up, smirk and audibly say, "Pffft! What!?" had to watch it a few times. That was pure skill.

Great game by EP and the Lotto line, as well for the relentless Höginator! We beat an elite team, on the road, scoring 6 without a single effing PP to boot. I'm luvin it!
Also just noticed the Canucks have a differential now of 50 goals. No other team in the league is even close to that!
And if someone had told me last September that at around the half-way point of the season, the Winnipeg Jets would be first overall, with the Canucks in 2nd position, i would told that person to see a physician to check for a potential brain injury. And yet...that is exactly where we sit currently. Big fan of this Alternate Universe type thing! ❤
